Erdogan's Pro Islamic Party gets majority in Turkish Elections

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan would be very happy tonight as his Justice and Development party (AKP) was able to get majority in Parliamentary elections of turkey by getting almost 50% vote which will allow hi, to form Government without help from any other party. the opposition party CHP was able to get 25% votes.

earlier election held in month of June in Turkey but no party was able to get majority after which elections took place once again and AK Party was able to get majority this time. this victory means that Turkish people still trusts Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his policies despite recent criticism against him for some of his policies about press.

AKP is continuously winning elections from 2002 in Turkey. the AKP is known as a pro Islamic party and it played Important role in economic progress of the country.

Turkey is facing several challenges like war in Syria, over a million refugees and terrorism. Erdogan can now focus his attention towards these Issues after getting elections majority.
