One reason of its wrong use is the easy access of all material from any search engine. The ratio to filthy content is to informative content in 5 ratios 1 on the World Wide Web. Therefore the chances of indulging into wrong acts are 5 times more on internet than in the real world.
There are more chances to fell into the trap of shetan when one clicks the browser. How can we save ourselves from using internet for haram activities? The answer is very simple, simple by listening to what ALLAH swt tells us to do. For a muslim to remain pure, he needs to be away from any activity that can take away his purity.
ALLAH swt says in Quran: 23: 1-3
“Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their Salât (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allâh has forbidden).”
ALLAh swt says that the successful people are those who perform their duties in time and those who shun vulgarity as well as any falsehood and evil talk and act which ALLAH swt has forbidden. Evil and vulgarity are attractive, they attract the attention of the people, those who have weak iman get attracted by it easily while those who have strong faith, they fight with it and the light of the truth wins.
The haram use of internet is very attractive, since all the dirt and filth is easily accessible, people sometimes unwillingly fall prey to shetan.
Haram use of internet is not limited to this activity only. The chit chat forums where girls and boys talk without any limitations in the name of fun, they also fall prey to the evil tactics of shetan and commit grave sins.
Therefore to use internet to have chit chat with na mahrams is also impermissible because the segregation of sexes even on virtual portals lead to fornication and fornication is one of the major sins.
ALLAH swt says: 17: 32
”And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a Fâhishah [i.e. anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allâh forgives him).”
Therefore, the need is to be at the safe distance from wrong doings.
Fornication or zina is not only committing in person but also to see, hear or read any such text is also a form of fornication. To save oneself from this sin is very important and it can only be done one has fear of ALLAH and strong faith. Thos who have strong faith and who fear ALLAH and keep themselves away from sins are the true believers, who will enter jannah. Jannah is the place of pure people where only purity prevails, no filth can ever enter that holy place.
ALLAH swt says: 56-25-26
“No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting). But only the saying of: Salâm!, Salâm! (greetings with peace)!”
to do a sin or to avoid is all depends on us. Sometimes we do it and sometimes we avoid it. We shoul pray to ALLAh swt that may HE save us from sins and may HE enter us that place where no filth will harass us. amin.
