Allah SWT revealed his last book on last Prophet Muhammad SAW. Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam acted on this book according to the will of Allah swt. Deen was completed and perfected during life time of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam. The Islam that was given to us by Prophet Muhammad SAW is the real Islam. No one can add new things and no one can end something from the Deen given to us by Prophet SAW.
The book of Allah and message of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam are real source of guidance for Muslim Ummah. The duty of ulemas and scholars is to convey message of Allah swt and His Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam without any addition, deletion or tampering . Ulemas are however human beings and are subjected to error therefore any of their saying in matters of deen in itself cannot be taken as law.
Every saying of every scholar should be verified with text of Quran and Sunnah of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam and all those sayings which are in accordance with Quran and Sunnah should be accepted and those sayings which are against Quran and authentic hadiths of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam should be rejected.
Its is saying of Famous Imam Abu Hanifah that if my saying is according to saying of Prophet SAW then accept it otherwise throw it on wall. So we all should remember that Quran and Sunnah are real authority in matter of deen and we should only accept sayings of Scholars if they are in accordance with Quran and Sunnah otherwise we should reject them no matter how big that scholar is?
