Hajj In Islam

Hajj is one of the main five pillars of Islam that is performed every year by several millions Muslims from around the world who travels to Makkah Saudi Arabia to perform it. Hajj is necessary for every Muslim who have enough wealth to perform it. It is performed in Dhu al-Hijjah before celebrations of Eid Ul Adha Festival.

Hajj is the largest gathering of human beings anywhere in the world. Hajj is performed in special type of clothes that is called ihram. Everyone wears ihram so that no difference remain between any rich or poor at time of Hajj.

In Hajj Muslims performs various acts. on 8th date of Dhu al-Hijjah Muslims goes to Mina from Makkah. next day they go to Arafat. after sunset they go to Muzdalifah. in next step Al-Jamarat is done in Mina. after it Eid Ul Adha is celebrated. Sacrifice of Animals is done. After it Tawaf is performed. after Tawaf people goes to Madina. the stay in Saudi Arabia for Hajj of a person normally is around 40 days.

This year 2012 as well Millions of Muslims are reaching Makkah to perform Hajj from various countries. Hajj is a great chance to change our life forever to do a fresh start of life in way of Allah.
