How To React When You Face Any Difficulty

Holy prophet s.a.w.w said; “There is no affliction which strikes the muslim except that ALLAH expiates with it (sin), even the thorn that may poke him”. (bukhari and muslim) People react differently when they are tried. Some show patience while some even than feel grateful and thankful to ALLAH. Now every person shows different levels of anger when they are hurt or they show patience of different levels.

Some people, when hurt, start blaming their fate, in other words they blame ALLAH who wrote this in their fate. they unknowingly commit grave sin by uttering those words of kufr. Some people, when they are tested start cursing others who, they assume, have caused this harm to them.

There are yet another people who start beating themselves and this is extreme insanity. This type of attitude is not acceptable because every trial comes from ALLAH it is He who decides what should come to face us in what level of life. This thing is well explained in the tradition of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w quoted above.

This kind of attitude is also highlighted in quran in following verse; 22:11
۞"And among mankind is he who worships Allah as it were, upon the very edge (i.e. in doubt); if good befalls him, he is content therewith; but if a trial befalls him, he turns back on his face (i.e. reverts back to disbelief after embracing Islam). He loses both this world and the Hereafter."

In contrast, there are people who face problems with brave heart. They accept what has come to them and pray while keeping full trust in ALLAH. such people are grateful to ALLAH in every matter of life. Patience comes not with anger but only when one accepts whatever comes to him.

ALLAh swt say in quran about sabirun;
8:46
“And obey Allah and His messenger, and dispute not one with another lest ye falter and your strength depart from you; but be steadfast! Lo! Allah is with the steadfast.”

Quran and life of Muhammad s.a.w.w are two sources which should be taken as guidance in every matter of life. It is also written in holy Quran that muslims should refer to ALLAH and his messenger s.a.w.w in matters of dispute, and they should hold fast to the rope of ALLAH i.e. his commands.

Those who are grateful to ALLAH even when they suffer a lot, they are true momineen. A tradition describes the state of such people very well.

THE Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah beupon him said, when he was asked which people suffer the most. He said, “The Prophets, then righteous people, then the next best and the next best. A man
will suffer according to his level of faith. If his faith is solid, he will suffer more, but if his faith is shaky, he will suffer less. The believer will keep on suffering until he walks on the earth with no sin.” (reported by
al-Tirmidhi and others).

Suffering, afflictions and trials are to be faced like brave souls not like cowards. We are trried only with as much weight as we can bear. ALLAh swt never has tried nor will he ever do any harm to his people.

Mutah is Haram

Mutah was once allowed by prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w to save his followers from illicit sex. But this was forbidden.

The purpose why mutah was allowed was that during early days of islam, people of Arabia were stil used to fo pagan practices, before islam illegal relations were very common. In fact pagan arabs were very open in their relationships. When islam came, it clearly defined some boundaries beyond which every thing was illegal.
In those days people used to travel to long distances for trade and other matters.

During this time they used to look for illegal relations, to avoid this prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w legalized mutah so that it become marriage rather than illegal sex. But then when this practice grew He s.a.w.w forbade it. The reason of allowing this was to make muslism aware of the fact that islam does not allow them to be weak in their desires.

Thus mutah was made haram. Below are given some traditions which verify this fact;
It was narrated from ‘Ali (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade mut’ah marriage and the meat of domestic donkeys at the time of Khaybar.
According to another report,

he forbade mut’ah marriage at the time of Khaybar and he forbade the meat of tame donkeys.

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3979; Muslim, 1407.

It was narrated from al-Rabee’ ibn Sabrah al-Juhani that his father told him that he was with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who said, “O people, I used to allow you to engage in mut’ah marriages, but now Allaah has forbidden that until the Day of Resurrection, so whoever has any wives in a mut’ah marriage, he should let her go and do not take anything of the (money) you have given them.”

Narrated by Muslim, 1406.
These traditions clearly show that mutah was made haram. Islam has very soft nature. It never imposed any rule at once of muslims. Even alcohol was made haram is steps not at once. If it was forbidden at ocne ti would become difficult for people to avoid it.

Similarly, at first to eradicate illegal relationships, a limit was set as mutah to keep relations legalized. Then when islam was implemented and rulings about relationships were made clear, it was also made clear that one should not be weak in desires. Thus gradually and slowly mutah was made haram.

Today a group of people still legalize mutah and call it islam because they simply cannot surrender their evil desires. So they do what is already forbidden. They are going against ALLAH and his messenger s.a.w.w. such people should read quran and read the ruling of marriage and rights of wives so that they could understand that mutah is haram.

Do not spread un-verified Hadiths or Verses Among Other Muslims

Muhammad s.a.w.w said “he who tells a lie on me intentionally, let him take his seat in hell fire.
sahih bukhari, vol 1, no. 107. It is a common practice now a days that in the name of spreading islam, people forward text messages and emails and scraps and posts which contain un-verified text.

most of the time, this text contains false hadith and false statements. These statements are either called hadith or verses of holy quran. Just imagine if this lie is forwarded and people spread it, how much sin will it be to misguide ummah!

According to a hadith, it is a grave sin to spread biddat and all that is not a part of religion. One who does this will not only incur sin but he will also held responsible for the sins of all those who spread his lies. Hence if you think you are innocent because you did not know, then you are very wrong.

It is every muslim’s duty to not only verfify the text which is about islam but also to check for its authenticity. Verification is not the only thing related to Islamic stuff. For example there are many hadith in some hadith books which are either weak or fabricated. Even the hadith collectors were strict about their collection and they themselves mentioned about the narrators of those traditions. So, to know if you are going to forward an authentic hadith, search about it, ask the learnt people to help you.

Similarly, when it comes to quranic verses, people forward any text without verifying it. There are many translations available among which some are done by non muslims who are islam bashers and do not accept islam as true religion or they are hadith rejecters.

Translation of pervizi, translation of quran by qadiyanis and similar group is misleading. Though these people could never change the original Arabic text but they are so astray souls that they have changed the translation to suit their agenda. Now any translation coming from these and like groups will be misleading. So it is your duty being a muslim to verify what you have received before you forward it, else you will be included in the chain of sinners.

ALLAH swt says in holy Quran: 4:13

Those are limits set by Allah: those who obey Allah and His Messenger will be admitted to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath, to abide therein (for ever) and that will be the Supreme achievement.

Remember, on the day of judgment no excuse will be accepted, so prepare for your hereafter now and at the very moment, as there is no tomorrow and there is no past, only the running moment is the life.

Do not appreciate sectarian talk

There are sects and sects within sects, this vicious circle is so complex that one cannot understand the point on which people differ. Sectarianism is a curse which divided previous nations and which drove them away from their religion.

This curse or disease has afflicted muslim ummah as well. But we are blessed because our beloved prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w has given us a glad tiding that one group among muslims will hold the rope of ALLAH and will never be the astray one, He .a.w.w called this group ahlus-sunnah wal jamah.

Today, almost every sect of muslims think that it is the aforementioned jamat and every sect tries its level best to prove this, thus this practice has invented sectarian talk as a point of discussion. Turn on any tv channel and you will find scholars sitting in a row who belong to different sects and they explain even the simple verse of quran according to their ideology.

Sectarianism is discouraged in islam, in fact it is forbidden. ALLAh swt has said in several places in quran to refer to ALLAh and his messenger s.a.w.w on disputes. Which means that instead of giving personal opinions, see what ALLAH swt and his messenger s.a.w.w has described.

Al-Quran 10:019
“To begin with, people had only one religion. Later on, they differed. Their disputes would have been settled, but the word has already gone out from your Lord (that this world is a test, the next is for punishment and reward).”

This verse is very clear about religion. People differed because they relied more on their understanding than on ALLAH’s word. All sects refer to quran as ultimate and perfect source of guidance, but then they also do not like to hurt their egos but accepting something good from someone else. Sectarian talk should be discouraged because;

All the sects are created because of human understanding of matters, they do not relate to religion.
Sectarian talk makes is easy for the enemies of islam to implant hatred among muslims thus it has become easy for islam enemies to beat muslims without trying their own swords.

Sectarian talk and beliefs has lifted mutual love and respect among muslims. People hate each other because they simply do not accept any other sect which contradicts their ideology. It should be avoided because it makes religious matters very complex. Islam is not complex because ALLAh swt has declared in Quran that it is the easy word to be understood. Thus sectarian talk is contradicting to quran.

Sectarian talk does not only make religion complex for muslims but it also is one of the main reason of disrespect of scholars. Scholars were once respected but no they are thought as backward people.
These points are root cause of hatred, racism and sectarianism in our society.

Importance of Friday in islam

Friday is the sixth day in Islamic week. The literal meaning of Friday is congregation. In islam, this day is given the most importance than any other days of the week. Every Friday, prayer of jummah is offered and for this prayer special time is taken.

Imams of all masjids deliver khutbah on a special topic eveyr Friday. This practice is being practiced by muslims even before the migration of Muhammad s.a.w.w from makkah ro madinah, but in low numbers (reference ibn-e majah 1082).

From various ahadith, it is proven that Muhammad s.a.w.w used to celebrate this day and he declared jummah as weekly eid for muslims. He s.a.w.w used to wear clean and new (washed) clothes, used to take bath, wear fragrance , wear surmah for this day specially.

Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w described the virtues of jummah prayer in the following hadith with these words;
" When the Friday comes, at every door of the Masjid there stands Angels who write down ( the names of ) those who come First, then who comes next. When the Imam sits down, the records are closed and they come to listen to the reminder , i.e. the Khutba...."
Muslim 1984.

From authentic ahadith, it is taken that prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w advised muslims to recite surah al-kahf on every Friday to keep safe from the fitnah of dajjal.

While the fast on jummah is forbidden i.e. the single fast in a week cannot be observed on jummah but it can be observed in pair i.e. with with Thursday or with Saturday.

From the history , it is proven that jummah was most important day for the previous nations as well. It is still considered a blessed day in many religions for example Hinduism. Thus, Friday is considered a special and important day right from the very beginning of humanity.

"Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Any person who takes a bath on Friday like the bath of Janaba and then goes for the prayer (in the first hour i.e. early), it is as if he had sacrificed a camel (in Allah's cause); and whoever goes in the second hour it is as if he had sacrificed a cow; and whoever goes in the third hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a horned ram; and if one goes in the fourth hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a hen; and whoever goes in the fifth hour then it is as if he had offered an egg. When the Imam comes out (i.e. starts delivering the Khutba), the angels present themselves to listen to the Khutba."

Bukhari,2:425, Muslim,2:582 ( Book of Friday Prayer)

The above mentioned hadith tells the importance of Friday.

Arranged Vs Love Marriage

Marriage is the most encouraged sunnah because it saves youth from so many sins and evil desires. Marriage validates a male and a female to live together legally, marriage is a legal ticket for the survival of humanity on earth. Whether love or arrange, marriage is encouraged.

Nobody dislikes marriage but then society is divided over arranged and love marriage. Some say arrange marriage is successful while some say love marriage is better. Both groups present valid and convincing points to prove their stance but nobody has ever provided a conclusive point yet.

Arranged marriage is arranged by parents or other family members. In these marriages, boy and girl are most of time not asked about their opinion but they are convinced by giving them one hundred thousand justifications of the choice. In Pakistani society, we see this as a common practice.

Parents and elders join their heads together and find a suitor for their girl or boy. The concerned bodies are seldom asked for their opinion in this regard. Mostly if boy or girl do not like their parents choice, they are emotionally black mailed or they are simply forced to accept what is decided for them already. This happens with girls more often than boys.

Elders favor arranged marriage by saying that they know world more than their kids, and they know their kids more than their own selves, so they should rely on their parents, trust us and believe that whatever we will find for them will be the best choice.

The proponents of love marriage on the other hand reject the other group by saying that marriage is a matter of life time it should be decided by those who have to spend their lives rather than by those who have already spent it.

Contrary to both views, islam says that it both males and females have every right to be asked before their marriage for their opinion. If they do not like the one liked by their parents, their opinion should be respected. Islam also tells the youth that they should look for someone who is best in din, not best in worldly affairs.

So, whether marriage is arranged or love, youth should respect their elders and listen to their opinion because they have seen more world than them, and elders should understand that they cannot enfore their opinion and likes on their kids because islam does not permit them to do so.

Wedding Expenses and Islam

Allah SWT says in the Quran “Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes);” From among the standards of islam for livelihood, one is to restrain from spending extra and also to restrain oneself from being a miser.

The verse mentions that the correct way to spend is to be balanced while spending. This golden rule is so affective that if all people start following it, the bad economic conditions will transform dramatically, but unfortunately, people do not consider them worth noting.

We see many examples of extravagance in our society in many forms. One of them is spending lavishly on weddings. No matter who, poor or rich, people spend money on weddings as if they are in some competition and they have to win it.

The lavish display of dowry and other wedding items have made it just like some exhibition. Wedding expenses are not only limited to the people who are going to be wed or their family members, but one wedding affects every person who wants to attend it. Females want new cloths jewelry and shoes for them, for their kids and for their husbands.

Thus one wedding becomes so expensive for a good number of people.
While arguing on this issue, some people say, this all is due to our cultural mix with Hinduism. Others say that people just want to have an upper hand over their relatives and wedding gives them a fair chance to do so. whatsoever the reasons brought forth, we being muslims should not forget that whatever we do is recorded instantly and will be shown to us when we will be raised again.

Our beloved prophet s.a.w.w could marry his daughters in the best way by spending as much as he could and people would help him any possible way, but the way he s.a.w.w married his daughters and himself got married should be taken as best examples for every person in muslim society.

Muhammad s.a.w.w never spent any extra money to show off. He found for his daughters best husbands, and he found for himself wives not because they were beautiful or rich. He s.a.w.w set for us a decent criteria of how to arrange marriages and how to look for a spouse on what basis.

All the righteous muslims followed this example until people started diverting from the right path. Islam does not asks believers whether they have given their daughters or sisters trucks of dowry or whether they served 10s of dishes on walimah.

The concept of barat is also not there in islam, simple nikah and walimah to validate nikah are two main events of marriage. Mehndi, obten and all other related events are not Islamic and they should not be celebrated because they are plain wastage of money.

We should adhere to Islamic rules, this will make wedding easy for every muslim.

There Is No Place For Valentine's Day In Islam

On 14th February Every year many people celebrates Valentine's Day which is also called day of Love. It was a Roman Festival if we see its history. On this day Boys purpose Girls and gives flowers and gifts to them. Valentine's Day is part of Western Culture but unfortunately from last few years many people has started promoting it in our culture as well.

There is no place for events like Valentine's Day in Islam. Firstly its a festival of Non Muslims. Secondly celebrating such days spreads many problems in the society. Many boys uses this day as a chance to attack respect of girls. This day also becomes cause of wrong relationships between girls and boys outside the marriage. Islam has clearly set guidelines for us that only relationship of husband and wife is Halal.

Many people tries to justify this day by saying that its a day of Love and peace. My answer to such people is that why you restrict love and peace to one day?? we should love and spread peace others 365 days of the year.

Famous Scholar Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer said about this day that "the sensual form of love is only allowed between Husband and wife in Islam. Valentine day does not promote love between husband and wife .It basically promotes extramarital relations which are not allowed in Islam .We as Muslims need to discourage these kinds of events to save our society from free mixing .If these kinds of events will be tolerated we will be victims of immodesty and ultimately will not be able to protect our society from adultery and fornication."

So we should keep ourselves away from such events and tries to follow Sunnah in every matter of life.

This saying of Prophet SAW makes it clear that every human no matter he is white, black, Arab or Non Arab is equal. Only that human is better who do good deeds. If we see history of Islam we find that Islam brought people of all races together. Hazrat Bilal Habshi who was a black man and a slave of a Jew Umayya Bin Khalf. After he got freed he became one of the most important Companion of Prophet Muhammad SAW. There are so many verses of Holy Quran which rejects racism. May Allah SWT save us all from Racism and make us brothers of each other.

As we all know that our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH was born in Islamic month of Rabi Ul Awal. Prophet Muhammad PBUH was sent as a blessing for all mankind to show right path to humanity for success in this world and in hereafter. On 12th date of Rabi Ul Awal many Muslims specially in Subcontinent celebrates Eid Milad Un Nabi as birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

The question is should we Celebrate Eid Milad Un Nabi SAW? to know that we will have to look back in the history that whether Prophet SAW himself celebrated his birthday? Or His Companions celebrated his birthday?? the answer is simply no. Prophet SAW or his Sahaba never celebrated their birthdays. There are only two Eids in Islam according to Quran and Sunnah that are Eid Ul Adha and Eid Ul Fitr. Eid Milad Un Nabi is a new invention whose no reference is available in Quran or Hadith. Prophet Muhammad SAW has clearly prohibited to invent any new thing in Islam and called it bid’ah. Rasool Allah SAW said Every innovation is a misguidance and every misguidance goes to Hell fire.

The sad fact of today's Muslim Ummah is that many of us has started doing many new works in name of Islam that are no where present in Quran or Hadith but the important things about which Quran and Hadith have guided us again and again are not followed by us. May Allah SWT help us to follow the real Islam that was given by our beloved Prophet SAW.

All Prophets earned money by Halal Means. Rasool Allah SAW done business of Trade and he was famous for his honesty. Prophet Zakariyya A.S was a carpenter.

We should keep ourselves away from Haram for earning the money like Interest, Fraud, Selling something by lying. We Should Remember if we will use Halal Means of Earning it will bring Barakah in our Wealth and even less Income will become enough for us. We should also remember that this world is not forever and the wealth of this world will not go with us. However our good deeds including using Halal means of earning will benefit us even in hereafter. May Allah SWT help us all to use Halal Means of Earning and avoid the Haram.

We are very rigid most of the times and are not comprehending the situation through which the people who have committed any fault were going through.

Many times people are not so bad and they are good at heart but we pick certain words uttered by them in anger and donot forgive them even though they acknowledge their mistake and regret on what they have done.

It is mentioned in Quran that Allah loves those who forgive others.Allah swt says:
who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the gooddoers). (Aali Imran 3:134)

On another instance Allah swt mentions the attributes of the true belivers: O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islâm), Allâh will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, (Al-Ma'idah 5:54)

Companions of Holy prophet have been praised by Allah swt because they were loving each other and were hard on disbelievers .Allah swt says:
Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allâh, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. (Al-Ma'idah 5:54)

Those people who are not ready to forgive others are actually victim of pride they should keep in mind the hadith of Rasool sala laho aliehi wasalam quoted by Imam Muslim in His saheeh that the person who has a speck of pride in his heart cannot enter Jannah.

A Human uses different parts of his body for doing different types of sins. For Example a human uses his eyes to see Haram things, he uses his hands for doing different haram works, a human uses his legs to go towards a sin. One of the major part of human body which he uses for doing sins is his tongue.

Just think From this tongue how many times we uses bad words everyday which keeps on increasing our sins. We use this tongue to abuse others, to speak against others, to speak lie, to show anger on others and to spread hatred between people.

Now think if we start controlling our tongue from speaking all these bad things we will be able to save ourselves from how many sins?? A Hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW says a person who guarantees me to guard his tongue i guarantee him about paradise. Another Hadith says remaining silent is better than speaking bad.

We should also remember that a person is known from how he speaks??? a person who speaks good from his language will also be liked and respected by others. on other hand a person who lies, abuses and speaks bad from his tongue is not liked by anyone. There is a famous quotation "first think then speak".

The Summary of this article is that if we will control our tongue from speaking bad we will not only get success and respect by the society in this world but we will also get success in hereafter. May Allah SWT help us all to use our tongues for right purposes.

Religious and Historical significance of Muharram ul Haram.

Allah swt is creator of heaven and earth and from the day he has created the earth and heaven he assigned 12 months in a year and has chosen 4 months in a year as sacred one.

Allah swt says:

Verily, the number of months with Allâh is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allâh on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred, (i.e. the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islâmic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein, and fight against the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) collectively, as they fight against you collectively. But know that Allâh is with those who are Al-Muttaqûn . (At-Tawbah 9:36)

Abu Bakrah, radi Allahu anhu, reported that the Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam said:

"The year is twelve months of which four are sacred, the three consecutive months of Dhu'l-Qa'dah, Dhu'l-Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab Mudar which comes between Jumada and Sha'ban." (Asim Bukhari : 2958)

This verse and hadith clearly indicates that Moharram ul haram was a sacred month from the beginning of creations.

All the time belongs to Allah but in sacred months it is the duty of Muslims to respect the signs and commands of Allah more than other months because the part of the above mentioned verse clearly says: “so wrong not yourselves therein” which means that any sin and wrong doing in these months is taken as serious violation compared to the sins and wrong doings done in the other months similarly all the acts which are done to seek reward and pleasure of Allah swt have more weight when they are performed in these sacred months.

Important incidents that took place in Moharram:

Although there are many important incidents that took place in Moharram but three of them are significant.

1 Iiberation of Musa aliehis salam and people of Israel from tyranny of Pharaoh .
2 Martyrdom of Hazrat Umer bin Khattab radi Allahu anhu.
3 Martyrdom of syedna Hussain radi Allahu anhu.

Musa aliehi salam along with children of Israel were liberated from tyranny of Pharaoh on 10th of Moharram .
Umer radi Allahu anhu was martyred on 1st of Moharram due to injury inflicted by a Zoroastrian slave Feroz abul lulu while he was leading prayers in majsid of Nabi salal laho aliehi wasalam.

Syedna Hussain radi Allahu anhu was martyred on 10th of Moharram along with is close relatives and companion in Karbala.

Fasting of Ashura is Sunnah of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam:

There are many hadiths which tell us that Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam used to fast on 10th of this month and emphasized on the fasting of other days of Moharram also.

Narrated 'Aisha radi Allahu anha: (The tribe of) Quraish used to fast on the day of Ashura' in the Pre-lslamic period, and then Allah's Apostle salal laho aliehi waslama ordered (Muslims) to fast on it till the fasting in the month of Ramadan was prescribed; whereupon the Prophet said, "He who wants to fast (on 'Ashura') may fast, and he who does not want to fast may not fast." (Bukharee, Volume 3, Book 31:Number 117)

Abu Hurayrah radi Allahu anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said:"The best fasting after Ramadhan is fasting Allah's month of Muharram." (Muslim:1982)

Ibn e Abbas radi Allahu anhu reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, came to Madinah and saw the Jews fasting on the day of 'Ashura. He asked: "What is this?" They said: "This is a righteous day, it is the day when Allah saved the Children of Israel from their enemies, so Musa fasted on this day." He said: "We have more right to Musa than you," so he fasted on that day and commanded [the Muslims] to fast on that day. (Bukhari:1865)

Abu Musa radi Allahu anhu reported :"The Jews used to take the day of 'Ashura as a festival [according to a report narrated by Muslim: the day of 'Ashura was venerated by the Jews, who took it as a festival. The Prophet, salal laho aliehi wasalam said:'So you [Muslims] should fast on that day.' " (Bukhari)

Reward of fasting on day of Ashura:
Fasting on day of Ashura ie 10th of Moharram is a source of earning great blessings of Allah swt.

Ibne Abbas radi Allahu anhu reported:I never saw the Messenger of Allah,salal laho aliehi wasalam so keen to fast on any day other than this day (which means he was keen to fast on this day more than all the days of the year except Ramadan which is indeed having preference due to obligatory fasting) and gave it priority over any other( day) i.e the day of 'Ashura (Bukhari:1867)

The Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam said:"For fasting the day of 'Ashura, I hope that Allah will accept it as expiation for the year that went before." ( Muslim:1976)

These two hadiths make it clear that it is indeed a great act to fast on Ashura and it is a source of earning such a great reward that due to this fasting Allah forgives sins of the past year may Allah give us toufeeq to earn this reward Ameen.

Important point to be rembered:

This should however be kept in mind that this does not mean that a person goes on sinning with the hope that he will observe fast on Ashura and Arafah and his sins will be forgiven rather he should focus on obligations and should establish obligatory salah and fasting of Ramadan and also fast on Arafah and Ashura.Allah swt will inshaAllah forgive him when he will be dedicated and committed in his worshipping and if he will be leaving obligatory and wil be relying on these days alone than he is mistaken and needs to amend his thinking.

It is encouraged to fast on Ninth besides 10th:
'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas, radi Allahu anhu, said:
"When the Messenger of Allah, salal laho aliehi waslam fasted on 'Ashura and commanded the Muslims to fast as well, they said, 'O Messenger of Allah, it is a day that is venerated by the Jews and Christians.' The Messenger of Allah salal laho aliehi waslaam said:'If I live to see the next year, insha'Allah, we will fast on the ninth day too.' But it so happened that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, passed away before the next year came." (Muslim: 1916)

This hadith clearly indicates that it was intention of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam to fast on 9th besides 10th so it is encouraged to fast on 9th besides 10th.Some of the scholars are of the view that fasting of 10th was actually substituted by 9th but majority of scholars are of the view that it was an addition to 10th of Moharram.

All the above mentioned hadiths make it clear that fasting of Ashura has no direct link with martyrdom of syedna Hussain radi Allahu anhu and it was a practice of Rasool salal laho aliehi waslam long before the martyrdom of Hussain radi Allahu anhu.

Stance of Islam About Early Age Marriages

Marriage is basically a religious-cum-social contract between people of opposite genders male and female. The purpose of marriage is to :

1 Over come sexual deviation and corruption
2 Continue human generations
3 Get a life partner for sharing and satisfaction

All these targets can be achieved if marriage is done with the consent of bride and families involved in this religious-cum-social contract.

Some people are keen to know stance of Islam about age of bride and bride groom.There is no restriction in Islam about age of marriage .Any person who has reached the age of puberty is allowed to marry in Islam provided that he/she is mentally and physically mature to fulfil the liabilities of marriage.

Many people have objections on early age marriages and they feel it is against human rights however on the other hand they are full supporters of free sex and are ready to accommodate even gays and lesbians under the banner of freedom, liberty and human rights.

Islam is against every kind of moral corruption and strongly condemns free mixing of genders . It is unlucky that many religious Muslims also become victims of propaganda done by secular and liberal people and start raising voice against early age marriages.

Reliable data shows that a large number of both genders is involved in moral corruption in early teens or even before and a majority of teenagers are involved in unethical activities especially masturbation which is not even taken unethical by many secular circles. This curse of masturbation causes mental distortion and many times leads to frigidity, impotence and acute depression.

All this observation strengthens the Islamic stance that a person male or female should be married as soon as possible if they are able to fulfil their liabilities with or without assistance of their family this can save them from all kinds of moral corruption.Allah swt says:

And marry those among you who are single (i.e. a man who has no wife and the woman who has no husband) and (also marry) the Sâlihûn (pious, fit and capable ones) of your (male) slaves and maid-servants (female slaves). If they be poor, Allâh will enrich them out of His Bounty. And Allâh is All-Sufficent for His creatures' needs, All-Knowing (about the state of the people). (An-Nur 24:32)

This verse indicates that Islam wants that single men/women should be married even if they are not financially stable because character is more important is Islam than carrier.

The first generation of Islam ie many sahabas practiced early age marriages and the result is quiet obvious that society was saved from all kind of moral corruptions.

Some of the prominent sahabias married at early ages are

1 Ummul momineen Ayesha radi Allahu anha
2 Ummul momineen Safiyya bint e Hayy radi Allahu anha
3 Hazrat Fatimah tuz Zahra radi Allahu anhu

It is however not obligatory to marry at early ages and according to surah Noor people can wait till they are financially stable.

Allah swt says:

And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allâh enriches them of His Bounty. And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), give them such writing, if you know that they are good and trustworthy. And give them something yourselves out of the wealth of Allâh which He has bestowed upon you (An-Nur 24:33)

This verse clearly indicates that there is no compulsion on a person to marry at early age and he/she can wait if they can save them from corruption but no one should criticize the early age marriages because it is one of the major ways to over come moral corruption and one thing should be kept in mind that early age marriage does not mean that a girl is being married without her consent .The consent of bride must be taken because without consent of guardian and bride a marriage is not legal in Islam.

Most of the people sees money, beauty, status etc. How many people sees for the virtue while finding the life partner?? there would very few people who looks for virtue while most of the people goes after money and beauty.

Our religion Islam which is a complete code of life even teaches us about choosing a right life partner. Islam makes it clear that Virtue is the factor which should be seen while looking for a wife or husband. There is no problem in money or beauty but that person should also have Virtue. See for a life partner that fears Allah, have good character, follows Islam in his/her life. There is also a hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW about it which says if you have to choose your life partner choose the one who has Virtue.

If you will go after money, beauty or status and not the Virtue then it can create problems in your married life. if you marry a person who has the virtue he/she will treat you in a good manner and will make your life happier however beauty or money does not guarantee that. So be careful before taking big decision of choosing your husband or wife. May Allah SWT help us all to choose the right life partners for ourselves.

Belief In Oneness of God Allah

The most basic and important teaching of Prophet Muhammad SAW is belief in the oneness of God. this is expressed in the primary statement of Islam First Kalma: "There is no other god but God." this beautiful phrase is the bedrock of Islam. It is its foundation and is the essential prerequisite for being a Muslim. It is this expression which differentiates a true Muslim from a unbeliever, one who associates others with God in his authority or an Atheist.

The Acceptance or denial of this important phrase produces a world of difference between men. those who do not believe in it form the opposite group. for the believers there is a progress which cannot be restricted. there is a success whose heights cannot be measured. there is unlimited fulfillment both in this life and in the hereafter, while failure and humiliation are the results met by those who refuse to believe in it.

But the difference which occurs between believers and unbelievers is not the result of mere chanting of few words. its real force lies in the conscious acceptance of this doctrine and the demands it makes upon us. its real power lies in following it completely in everyday life. May Allah SWT make us all true believers Ameen.

Importance of Good Speaking In Islam

Tongue and speaking ability is a blessing of Allah SWT for mankind and it differentiates human beings from the animals. Allah swt discusses this blessing in his book holy Quran in the following way:

Have We not made for him a pair of eyes? And a tongue and a pair of lips? (Al-Balad 90:8-9)

This tongue should always be used for good purpose with good intentions.A person is accountable before Allah swt for the blessing He has bestowed upon him.

Allah swt says:

Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the blessings(you were given in this world)! (At-Takathur 102:8)

Some of the good deeds which can be done with the tongue are :

1 preaching /inviting to right path
2 Intercession
3 Consoling/kind words
4 words of wisdom

Positive saying is a very beneficial deed .A person who uses his tongue in a positive way gets reward from Allah swt for his good deed.

There are many verses of Quran highlighting importance of good sayings:

Some of the verses highlighting importance of preaching are as follows:
And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allâh (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allâh's (Islâmic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims." (Fussilat 41:33)

You [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allâh - and rebellious against Allâh's Command). (Aali Imran 3:110)

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islâm), enjoining Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. (Aali Imran 3:104)

Another verse highlighting importance of intercession is as follows:

Whosoever intercedes for a good cause will have the reward thereof, and whosoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a share in its burden. And Allâh is Ever All-Able to do (and also an All-Witness to) everything. (An-Nisa 4:85)

Similarly another verse highlighting importance of kind words is as follows:

Kind words and forgiving of faults are better than Sadaqah (charity) followed by injury. And Allâh is Rich (Free of all wants) and He is Most-Forbearing. (Al-Baqarah 2:263)

Similarly there are some of the verses highlighting importance of wisdom:

Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islâm) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'ân) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. (An-Nahl 16:125)

He grants Hikmah to whom He pleases, and he, to whom Hikmah is granted, is indeed granted abundant good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding. (Al-Baqarah 2:269)

And indeed We bestowed upon Luqmân Al¬Hikmah (wisdom and religious understanding, etc.) saying: "Give thanks to Allâh," and whoever gives thanks, he gives thanks for (the good of) his ownself. And whoever is unthankful, then verily, Allâh is All¬Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise. (Luqman 31:12)

There are also many hadiths which highlight importance of good sayings:

Sayyidina Abu Mas’ud Badri (RA) reported that a man came to the Prophet (SAW) asking for a riding beast pleading that his animal had died. Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said to him, “Go to so-and-so.” He went and he gave him the beast. So, Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “He who guides to what is good has a reward like the reward of the doer.”

(Bukhari 142, Muslim 1893,Tirmidhi,book 44,chapter 14, 2680, Abu Dawud 5129,Ahmed 17083)

Sayyidina Abu Musa Ash’ari (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, “Do make a recommendation that you may be rewarded. Allah brings on His Prophets tongue what He wills.”

(Bukhari 1432,Muslim 2127, Tirmidhi,book 44,chapter 14, 2681, Abu Dawud 5131,Nisai 2555, Ahmed 1960)

The above mentioned two hadiths highlight the importance of intercession .One who intercedes with good intentions will get reward like the person who does good on his recommendation.

Here are some other hadiths highlighting importance of preaching and inviting to right path:

Sayyidina Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “One who invites people to guidance will get a reward like the rewards of those who follow himwithout anything being taken away from their rewards. And he who invites to a wrong will get a sin like the sins of those who obey him without their sins being diminished inany way.”
(Muslim 2674,Abu Dawud 4609,Ibn Majah 206, Tirmidhi,book 44,chapter 14, 2683 , Ahmed 9171)

Sayyidina Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “If anyone initiated a good prauice0 and is followed therein then he has a reward for it which is equal to the rewards of those who follow him without reducing anything from their rewards. And if anyone initiates an evil practice and is followed therein then he has a sin for it like the sins of those who followed him without reducing anything from their sins.”
(Muslim 1017,Ibn Majah 203,Nisai 2553, Tirmidhi,book 44,chapter 14, 2684, Ahmed 19177)

These two hadiths highlight the reward of preaching that whosoever guides to the right path and people start following his advise he earns the rewards till the people are acting on his advise.

Another hadith highlighting obligation of preaching is as follows:

Tariq ibn Shihab reported that the first man to deliver the sermon (of eid) before the salah was Marwan. A man stood up and said to Marwan, “You have contravened the Sunnah.” He replied, ‘O so-and-so, what you search for is abandoned.” Abu Sa’eed (RA) said, “As for him, indeed, he did what was due of him. I had heard Allah’s Messenger say: If anyone sees a wrong, he must prevent it with his hand. But, if he is not able then with his tongue, and if he is unable then with his heart and that is the weakest (degree of) faith.”
(Muslim 49 Tirmidhi,book 36,chapter 11, 2179)

This hadith clearly indicates that every Muslim should preach the right and abstain from wrong according to his ability.

There is another hadith which clarifies the fact that the people will face destruction if they will abstain from preaching:

Sayyidina Numan ibn Bashir (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “The example of those who abide by the limits of Allah and those who do not observe them is like that of a people who cast lots to sail on a ship. Some of them take the upper deck and some the lower deck. Those in the sea in the lower deck would ascend (to theupper) to get water and (in the process) would drop water on those in the upper deck.So these people who were in the upper deck said, ‘We will not allow you to climb up for you hurt us.” So, those in the lower deck responded, “Well we shall bore a hole in the lower portion and fetch water from here.” Thus, if they hold their hands and prevent them then all of them will be saved, but if they leave them to themselves then all of them would drown.”
(Bukhari 2493, Muslim 1599, Tirmidhi,book 36,chapter 11, 2180)

Similarly following hadith highlights the importance of words of wisdom:

Sayyidina Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “The words of wisdom are the lost possession of a believer. So, wheresoever he finds them, he has more right over them.”
(Tirmidhi,book 44,chapter 14, 2696, Ibn e Majah 4169)

This hadith clearly indicates that wisdom is a great gift of Allah swt and a true believer is always after the words of wisdom and he takes it from every one without prejudice.

Conclusion:

1 Tongue is a blessing of Allah and it should not be misused.
2 A man will be accountable before Allah swt for misuse of blessings.
3 The good uses of tongue are: preaching /inviting to right path, Intercession, Consoling/kind words and words of wisdom.
4 A Muslim should always try to talk good according to the best of his ability.
5 Good speech is a sustaining source of reward till the people get benefit from it.

Death Penalty in Light of Quran and Sunnah

Islam is a religion of peace and love. it ensures the safety of life for every human being on the earth.

Holy Quran says:

if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allâh by committing the major sins) in the land!. (Al-Ma'idah 5:32)

However in case of serious crimes capital punishment should be given after free and fair judicial procedure.The crimes in which capital punishment is proved from either Quran or sunnah of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam are as follows:

1 Killing without any reason
2 Sexual intercourse and done by married people /homosexuality done by any one
3 Violence on earth like robbery, gang rape and raising voice against Allah swt and His Rasool salal laho alieh wasalam
4 Blasphemy
5 Apostasy

The detail of all these points is as follows:

1 Killing without any reason or authority:
No one can kill any person in personal capacity.It is the authority of state to punish any criminal so no body can take law in his hands.So whenever a person kills an innocent person he should be killed for his criminal activity.

Quran says:

O you who believe! Al-Qisâs (the Law of Equality in punishment) is prescribed for you in case of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. But if the killer is forgiven by the brother (or the relatives, etc.) of the killed against blood money, then adhering to it with fairness and payment of the blood money, to the heir should be made in fairness. This is an alleviation and a mercy from your Lord. So after this whoever transgresses the limits (i.e. kills the killer after taking the blood money), he shall have a painful torment. (Al-Baqarah 2:178)

So it is clear from the above mentioned verses of Quran that a person who kills another person should be killed due to his crime.

2 Sexual Intercourse done by married people/homosexuality done by any one:
. Allah swt has blessed human beings with a number of abilities and potentials. One of these potential is reproductive power .The purpose of this power was to maintain human societies on this globe and to develop families based on the love affection and mercy.

Allah swt says:

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect. (Ar-Rum 30:21)

Unluckily this ability has been abused by human beings to seek pleasure unacceptable by both Allah and humanity.The situation has not been limited to misuse of this power .Many people have been trying to legalize extramarital acts like zina and sodomy in Muslim lands and different articles are being written in English news papers in favour of homosexuality . It is being written in these articles that only religious fanatics are raising voice against sexual and moral crimes where as in reality there is no ruling in Religious scriptures and Quran about these acts.

Allah swt and His Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam have recommended immediate marriages after puberty and allowed polygamy to keep human beings in discipline but there is no room for moral corruption of any kind .and Allah and His Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam have always condemned extra marital relationships.

On one instance Allah swt says:

And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a Fâhishah [i.e. anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allâh forgives him). (Al-Isra 17:32)

This violation and abuse is not only limited to zina or fornication .Allah swt has condemned all kind of extramarital activities like homosexuality and masturbation

Allah swt says:

And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; (Al-Mu'minun 23:5-7)

The phrase “Whoever seeks beyond that” includes every kind of extramarital activities.

Allah swt has condemned heinous act of homosexuality on many occasions and tribe of Sodom was eliminated for this heinous and even wife of Lot aliehis salam was hit by torment of Allah swt because she was favouring this wrong act.

Here is one of those instances mentioned in Holy Quran:

The prople of Lout (Lot) (those dwelt in the towns of Sodom in Palestine) belied the Messengers When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allâh and obey Him? "Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. "So fear Allâh, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islâmic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists). "Go you in unto the males of the 'Alamîn (mankind) "And leave those whom Allâh has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!" They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do." So We saved him and his family, all, Except an old woman (his wife) among those who remained behind. Then afterward We destroyed the others. And We rained on them a rain (of torment). And how evil was the rain of those who had been warned. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. (Ash-Shu'ara 26:160-174)

Allah swt has declared severe penalties against adulterers and those committing homosexual acts

Allah swt says:

The woman and the man guilty of illegal sexual intercourse, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by Allâh, if you believe in Allâh and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment. (This punishment is for unmarried persons guilty of the above crime but if married persons commit it, the punishment is to stone them to death, according to Allâh's Law). (An-Nur 24:2)

On another instance Allah swt says:

And as for those who are guilty of an indecency from among your women, call to witnesses against them four (witnesses) from among you; then if they bear witness confine them to the houses until death takes them away or Allah opens some way for them. And as for the two who are guilty of indecency from among you, give them both a punishment; then if they repent and amend, turn aside from them; surely Allah is oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful. (An-Nisa 4:15)

But in case of married people

Rasool sala laho aliehi wasalam said : "Learn this from me. Allah opens some way for them, both in the case of a married man and a married woman and that of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman. For the married, one hundred lashes and stoning, and for the unmarried one hundred lashes and exile for a year. (Muslim vol. 3, p. 911, no. 4192)

There are some other hadiths highlighting this death penalty in case of married people:

Sayyidina Ibn Abbas reported that Prophet asked M’iz ibn Maalik (RA) “Is what I haveheard about you true? He asked, What is it that has reached you about me? He said, “Ihave heard that you have committed adultery with a girl of such-and such tribe”. He said “Yes” and testified four times. So, he ordered to stone him to death.

(Muslim ,no 16931, Tirmidhi,book 17,chapter 4,no 1432)

Sayyidina Jabir (RA), narrated about a man who came to the Prophet (SAW) from thetribe Aslam. He confessed having committed adultery. The Prophet (SAW) turned away from him . He again made a confession, but the Prophet (SAW) turned away from him till the man had testified against himself four times. The Prophet (SAW) said, ‘Are you afflicted with madness?” He said, “No”He asked “Are you married?’ He answered, “Yes”so, the Prophet gave an order (about him) and he was being stoned at the place of eid prayers. When the stones struck him, he fled. The people caught hold of him and stoned him to death. The Prophet (SAW) spoke a good word about him, but did not offer his (funeral) salah.

(Bukhari ,no 5270 , Muslim,no 1691, Tirmidhi,book 17,chapter 5,no 1434)

Sayyidina Umar ibn Khattab narrated: Surely Allah sent Muhammad with the truth and revealed to him the Book. And in that which He revealed is the verse of rajm. So Allah’s Messenger (SAW) inflicted this punishment and, after him, we inflicted it. But I fear that a time will come upon the people when one who has to say might say, “We do not find rajm, in the Book of Allah.” Perhaps they might go astray by neglecting a fard that Allah has revealed. Know’ If a married person commits adultery, he has to be stoned to death provided there are witnesses, or he confeses himself, or pregnancy makes it known.

(Bukhari,no 6829, Muslim,no 1691 Tirmidhi,book 17,chapter 7,no 1437)

Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah reported that he heard from Sayyidina Abu Hurayrah (RA) Zayd ibn Khalid (RA) and Shibl that they were with the Prophet Two men came to him,quarreling with one another. One of them stood before him and said, “I adjure you by Allah, 0 Messenger of Allah! Decide between us according to the Book of Allah His contender also uttered, he being more intelligent than the other” 0 Messenger of Allah do judge between us by Allah s Book and permit me to speak, My son was a labourer with him and committed adultery with his wife. I was informed that my son would attract the punishment of stoning to death, so by way of ransom, I gave a hundred sheep and emanicpated a slave, thereafter, I met some scholars and they told me that my son would be awarded a hundred lashes and exiled for a year while this man’s wife would be stoned to death.’ So, Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “By Him in whose Hand is my soul. I will surely judge between you by Allah’s Book. The hundred sheep and the slave are returnable to you. Your son will be awarded a hundred lashes and exiled for a year. And, O Unays go to the wife of this man tomorrow morning. If she confesses then stone her.” He went to her the next day. She confessed and he stoned her to death.

(Bukhari, no 6842, Muslim,no 1697, Tirmidhi,book 17,chapter 8 ,no 1438)

Sayyidina Ubadah ibn Samit (RA) reported that Allah’s Mesenger said, “Listen to me and bear this well in your mind. Allah has provided a way for those women. Thus, if an adulteress is married then a hundred lashes are given to her and then stoning to death.If she is unmarried then (the punishment) is hundred lashes and exile for a year.

(Muslim, no 15690 , Tirmidhi,book 17,chapter 8 ,no 1439)

Sayyidina lmran ibn Husayn narrated that a woman of Juhayrah confessed before the Prophet (SAW) that she had committed adultery. She said that she was pregnant. The Prophet (SAW) summoned her guardian and said (to him), “Look after her well, and when she delivers her child, in form me’. So he did that. The Prophet s’ gave a command and her garments were bound to her body. Then he ordered that she should be stoned to death. That was done to her. Then he prayed over her. Sayyidina Umar ibn Khattab (RA) said to him, “0 Messenger of Allah! you punished her with rajm then prayed over he” He said, She had repented a repentance which if it were divided over seventy people of Madinah that would have been enough for them. And do you find anything better than what she has spent of her life for Allah?”

(Muslim,no 1696 , Tirmidhi,book 17,chapter 9 ,no 1440)

It should be born in mind that these punishments are not to eliminate sinners but these are basically atonement for sinners .It is clearly mentioned in hadith:

Sayyidina Ubadah ibn Samit (RA) narrated: We were sitting with the Prophet He said, ‘Pledge to me that you will not associate anything with Allah, you will not steal and will not commit fornication,” and he recited to them a verse (of the Qur’an). He said. “He among you who is faithful to it, his reward is with Allah. And if anyone commits a sin and is punished for that then that is his atonement. And if anyone commits a sin and Allah conceals it for him then it is up to Allah, if He will, He may punish him, if he will, He may forgive him.

(Muslim, no 1709 , Tirmidhi,book 17,chapter 12 ,no 1444)

And similarly highlighting the punishment of sexual crimes on another instance Allah swt says:

And the two persons among you who commit illegal sexual intercourse, punish them both. And if they repent (promise Allâh that they will never repeat, i.e. commit illegal sexual intercourse and other similar sins) and do righteous good deeds, leave them alone. Surely, Allâh is Ever the One Who accepts repentance, (and He is) Most Merciful. (An-Nisa 4:16)

And yet on another instance Allah swt says:

Verily, those who like that (the crime of) illegal sexual intercourse should be propagated among those who believe, they will have a painful torment in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allâh knows and you know not. (An-Nur 24:19)

This verse clearly indicates that all those involved in illegal sexual acts deserve severe punishments.

According to hadiths of Holy prophet people who are involved in sodomy whether married or unmarried deserve death penalty.

Muhammad salal laho aliehi wasalam said : "Whoever you find committing the sin of the people of Lut, kill them, both the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.(Sunan Al Tirmidhi)

These acts have also been condemned in Bible on different occasions Some of these instances are as follow:

You shall not commit adultery.(Exodus 20:14,New International Version )

But a man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself." (Proverbs 6:32, New International Version)

Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. (Leviticus 18:22, New International Version)

The punishment of these wrong act has been mentioned in Bible in the following way:

"If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die." (Deuteronomy 22:22 , New International Version)

"If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death." (Leviticus 20:10 , New International Version)

And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.( Leviticus 21:9 ,New International Version)

If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. (Leviticus 20:13, New International version)

3 Violence on earth like robbery, gang rape and raising voice against Allah swt and His Rasool salal laho alieh wasalam:
Allah swt does not like violence and mischief on earth and always condemn mischief on earth .

One one instance He says:

And do not do mischief on the earth, after it has been set in order, and invoke Him with fear and hope; Surely, Allâh's Mercy is (ever) near unto the gooddoers. (Al-A'raf 7:56)

On another instance He says:

And to (the people of) Madyan (Midian), (We sent) their brother Shu'aib. He said: "O my people! Worship Allâh! You have no other Ilâh (God) but Him. [Lâ ilâha ill-Allâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh)]." Verily, a clear proof (sign) from your Lord has come unto you; so give full measure and full weight and wrong not men in their things, and do not mischief on the earth after it has been set in order, that will be better for you, if you are believers. (Al-A'raf 7:85)
For all those crimes which lead to mass violence and mischief on land death like gang rape ,robbery and rebel against Allah swt and His Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam death penalty has been assigned .

Allah swt says in Holy Quran:

The recompense of those who wage war against Allâh and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter. (Al-Ma'idah 5:33)

4 Blasphemy :
One of the heinous crimes against which death penalty has been assigned is Blasphemy which means insulting any prophet of Allah swt including last prophet of Allah swt Muhammad salal laho aliehi wasalam. .Any person whether Muslim or non Muslim involved in blasphemy also deserves capital punishment.

Allah swt has revealed in the Holy Quran the incidence of two friends in Surah Furqan.

Allah swt says:

And (remember) the Day when the Zâlim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger ( Muhammad SAW). "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a friend! "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Qur'ân) after it had come to me. And Shaitân (Satan) is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need." (Al-Furqan 25:27-29)

The following incident has been narrated in asbab an nazool by waheedi about these verses :

(On the day when the wrong-doer gnaweth his hands…) [25:27]. ‘Ata’ al-Khurasani reported that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “Ubayy ibn Khalaf used to go to the Prophet, Allah bless him and give him peace, keep his company and listen to his speech without believing in him. ‘Uqbah ibn Abi Mu‘ayt, then, rebuked him for doing so, and so this verse was revealed about it”. Said al-Sha‘bi: “ ‘Uqbah [ibn Abi Mu‘ayt] was a friend of Umayyah ibn Khalaf. When ‘Uqbah embraced Islam, Umayyah said to him: ‘I do not want to ever see you if you follow Muhammad’. ‘Uqbah disbelieved again and renounced Islam to please his friend, and so Allah, exalted is He, revealed this verse”. Other commentators of the Qur’an said: “Ubayy ibn Khalaf and ‘Uqbah ibn Abi Mu‘ayt were allies. It was the habit of ‘Uqbah, upon returning from a travel, to invite the nobles of his people to eat with him. ‘Uqbah also used to keep the company of the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace. He returned one day from one of his travels, made some food and invited people and the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, to eat. When the food was placed before the invitees, the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, said to him: ‘I will not eat your food until you bear witness that there is no deity except Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah’. ‘Uqbah said: ‘I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah’, upon which the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, ate from his food. Ubayy was absent on that occasion. But when he was informed of what had happened, he said to ‘Uqbah: ‘You have renounced the religion of your forefathers?’ ‘Uqbah said: ‘By Allah, I did not. I had a man in my house who refused to eat my food unless I bore witness to him and I was ashamed to let him leave my house without him eating, and so I bore witness to him and he ate my food’. Ubayy said to him: ‘I will never be happy with you until you go to him, spit on his face and step on his neck’. ‘Uqbah did just that, and the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, said to him: ‘If I ever meet out of Mecca, I will behead you’. ‘Uqbah was later killed while in captivity at Badr. As for Ubayy ibn Khalaf, the Prophet, Allah bless him and give him peace, killed him in a duel at Uhud. And so Allah, exalted is He, revealed about ‘Uqbah and Ubayy this verse”. Said al-Dahhak: “When ‘Uqbah spat on the face of the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, his spit split into two and flew back on ‘Uqbah’s face. This caused both his cheeks to burn and the scars resulting from this burning remained visible until he died”.
This is thus clearly proved from Holy Quran that punishment of blasphemy is death in Islam.

During the time period of Holy Prophet salal laho aliei wasalam. Some of the people who were killed due to this crime are :

Kaab bin Ashraf
Abu Rafay yahoodee
Asma bint Marwan
A maid servant of a blind companion of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam

5 Apostasy:

Apostasy is a major crime which has been condemned by Allah swt in Holy Quran .

Allah swt says :

And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever." (Al-Baqarah 2:217)

So whenever a person turns back from his deen and becomes an apostate he is also killed after free and fair judicial trial.
This is proved from the following hadith:

Sayyidina Ikrimah (RA) reported that Sayyidina Ali sentenced those who had apostatised from Islam to be burnt down. When Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (RA) learnt of it, he said, “If I was there then I would have had them killed because Allah’s Messenger (SAW) had said,“He who changes his religion should be killed, I would not burn him because Allah’s Messenger (SAW) had said, ‘ Do not punish with Allah’s punishment.” When Sayyidina Ali learnt of it, he said, “Ibn Abbas (RA), has spoken the truth.”

(Bukhari,no 3017 , Tirmidhi,book 17,chapter 25 ,no 1463)

Conclusion:

So it can be easily concluded from the abovementioned discussion:
1 Islam does not support capital punishment in general
2 In serious crimes like:
a Killing without any reason
b Sexual intercourse and done by married people /homosexuality done by any 1
c Violence on earth like robbery, gang rape and raising voice against Allah swt and His Rasool salal laho alieh wasalam

Islam recommends capital punishment

It is common practise in Muslim society these days that they swear frequently and many people swear in the names of their fathers ,mothers ,wives and beloved. There are many things which need to be kept in mind while swearing and taking oaths:

1 One should only swear in name of Allah:

One should only swear in the name of Allah and should never swear in name of any human being. Here are some hadiths which clarify this point:

Narrated Ibn 'Umar radi Allahu anhu:Allah's Apostle met 'Umar bin Al-Khattab while the latter was going with a group of camel-riders, and he was swearing by his father. The Prophet said, "Lo! Allah forbids you to swear by your fathers, so whoever has to take an oath, he should swear by Allah or keep quiet." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 8, Book 78, Number 641)

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar radi Allahu anhur:Allah's Apostle said, "Do not swear by your fathers." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 8, Book 78, Number 643)

Narrated Abu Huraira radi Allahu anhu :The Prophet said, "Whoever swears saying in his oath. 'By Al-Lat and Al'Uzza,' should say, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; and whoever says to his friend, 'Come, let me gamble with you,' should give something in charity."( Sahih Bukharee,Volume 8, Book 78, Number 645)

2 One should fulfil and take care of his oath:

A person should be careful about his oath and should try his best to fulfil his oath.Some of the hadiths highlighting this point are as follows:

Narrated Al-Bara: The Prophet ordered us to help others to fulfill the oaths. (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 8, Book 78, Number 648)

Narrated 'Abdullah:The Prophet was asked, "Who are the best people?" He replied: The people of my generation, and then those who will follow (come after) them, and then those who will come after the later; after that there will come some people whose witness will precede their oaths and their oaths will go ahead of their witness." Ibrahim (a sub-narrator) said, "When we were young, our elder friends used to prohibit us from taking oaths by saying, 'I bear witness swearing by Allah, or by Allah's Covenant."' (Sahih BukhareeVolume 8, Book 78, Number 652)

3 Allah will forgive forgetfulness in oaths/ unintentional oaths:

It is the mercy of Allah swt that He will not punish those people who unintentionally swore in His name without attentive heart.Some of the verses of Quran related to issue are as follows:

Allâh will not call you to account for that which is unintentional in your oaths, but He will call you to account for that which your hearts have earned. And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearing. (Al-Baqarah 2:225)

And there is no sin on you if you make a mistake therein, except in regard to what your hearts deliberately intend. And Allâh is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful. (Al-Ahzab 33:5)

Allâh will not punish you for what is uninentional in your oaths, but He will punish you for your deliberate oaths(Al-Ma'idah 5:89)

4 There is severe punishment for false oath:

Any one who takes a false oath with bad intention he will have to face severe torment on the day of Judgement.The hadiths which clarifies this point is as follows:

Narrated 'Abdullah:The Prophet said, "Whoever swears falsely in order to grab the property of a Muslim (or of his brother), Allah will be angry with him when he meets Him." Allah then revealed in confirmation of the above statement:--'Verily those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their own oaths.' (3.77) Al-Ash'ath said, "This Verse was revealed regarding me and a companion of mine when we had a dispute about a well." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 8, Book 78, Number 653)

5 One should break oath of sin

When someone takes oath of sin he must break this oath because if he will try to mantain his oath he will earn more sins.Hadith related to this issue is as follows:

Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Apostle said, "Anyone who takes an oath through which his family may be harmed, and insists on keeping it, he surely commits a sin greater (than that of dissolving his oath). He should rather compensate for that oath by making expiation." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 8, Book 78, Number 622)

Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet said, "We (Muslims) are the last in the world, but will be foremost on the Day of Resurrection." Allah's Apostle also said, "By Allah, if anyone of you insists on fulfilling an oath by which he may harm his family, he commits a greater sin in Allah's sight than that of dissolving his oath and making expiation for it." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 8, Book 78, Number 621)

6 When some one breaks an oath he should compensate by making expiation:

In case of need ,emergency and to benefit humanity one can breaks his oath and can compensate it by making expiation .A verse of Quran and some hadiths related to issue are as follows:

Allâh will not punish you for what is uninentional in your oaths, but He will punish you for your deliberate oaths; for its expiation (a deliberate oath) feed ten Masâkin (poor persons), on a scale of the average of that with which you feed your own families; or clothe them; or manumit a slave. But whosoever cannot afford (that), then he should fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths when you have sworn. And protect your oaths (i.e. do not swear much). Thus Allâh make clear to you His Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) that you may be grateful. (Al-Ma'idah 5:89)

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Samura:The Prophet said, "O 'Abdur-Rahman bin Samura! Do not seek to be a ruler, because if you are given authority for it, then you will be held responsible for it, but if you are given it without asking for it, then you will be helped in it (by Allah): and whenever you take an oath to do something and later you find that something else is better than the first, then do the better one and make expiation for your oath." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 8, Book 78, Number 619)

Narrated 'Aisha:Abu Bakr As-Siddiq had never broken his oaths till Allah revealed the expiation for the oaths. Then he said, "If I take an oath to do something and later on I find something else better than the first one, then I do what is better and make expiation for my oath."(Sahih Bukharee,Volume 8, Book 78, Number 618)

Conclusion:

1 One should not play with oaths
2 One can take oath in case of Need
3 One should not swear in name of any one other than Allah swt
4 One should fulfil his oath
5 The person who takes false oath will be severly punished by Allah swt
6 One should not fulfil oath of sin
7 If some one breaks his oath he should make expiation for it
8 the expiation of oath according to Quran is
a ) Feeding ten Masâkin (poor persons), on a scale of the average of that with which you feed your own families
or
b) Clothing ten Masakins (poor persons)
or
c) Setting a slave free
or
d) One who cannot afford (that), then he should fast for three days.

Taqleed Necessary or Not?

Taqleed is a very important and crucial issue related to understanding of deen. There are two opinions about Taqleed .First opinion says Taqleed is obligatory and 2nd opinion says that Taqleed should be avoided.Further there is another opinion which says that Taqleed is not necessary for scholars and knowledgeable persons but it is necessary for layman.Before going into detail of the issue we need to know that what exactly Taqleed means?

Definition of Taqleed:

Literal: Taqleed is a verbal noun of the root ‘Qa' 'la' 'da’ in the second form. The verb Qalada means to place, to gird or to adorn with a necklace It is many times used for animals like goat cow and camal who follow their owner blindly and have necklace in their neck . When used in conjunction with human beings, it refers to the wearing of a necklace, pendant or any other such similar ornament.

Technical: The acceptance of a statement of another without demanding proof or evidence on the belief that the statement is being made in accordance with fact and proof, is called Taqleed, or, for the purist, Taqleed-ush-shakhsi.

It is never applied on the following of Rasool salal lahoa liehi wasalam because the sayings of the Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam are part and parcel of deen and they are evidence in their self there for term itteba is used for following of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam.It is applied to the sayings of scholar,Imam,mufti etc.

Basically there are four school of thoughts based on taqleed :

1 Hanafis
2 Malikis
3 Shafiis
4 Hanbalis

These four school of thoughts believe that four Imams of Jurisprudence i.e Imam Abu Hanifah rahimahullah,Imam Malik rahimahullah,Imam Shafi rahimahullah and Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal rahimahullah were possessing such a great knowledge that they cannot be challenged in the matters of their deduction and interpretation of deen.They think that it is obligatory to follow any one of them and without following them no one can be successful in matters related to deen .

We need to check this claim against Quran and Sunnah.We should accept it if it is proved from Quran and Hadith and should reject it if it is not proved from Quran and Sunnah.

When we look into documents of Quran and Sunnah we come to know that in matters of deen there are only two commands which can be taken as authority:

1 Quran
2 Authentic hadiths

There are many verses which highlight the significance of commands of Allah swt and Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam.Some of these are as follows:

1 O you who believe! Do not put (yourselves) forward before Allâh and His Messenger (SAW), and fear Allâh. Verily! Allâh is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (Al-Hujurat 49:1)

2 Verily, those who disbelieve, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allâh (i.e. Islâm), and oppose the Messenger ( SAW) (by standing against him and hurting him), after the guidance has been clearly shown to them, they will not hurt Allâh in the least, but He will make their deeds fruitless, (Muhammad 47:32)

3 O you who believe! Obey Allâh, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) and render not vain your deeds. (Muhammad 47:33)

4 They (hypocrites) say: "We have believed in Allâh and in the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and we obey," then a party of them turn away thereafter, such are not believers. And when they are called to Allâh (i.e. His Words, the Qur'ân) and His Messenger (SAW), to judge between them, lo! a party of them refuse (to come) and turn away. (An-Nur 24:47-48)

5 The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allâh (His Words, the Qur'ân) and His Messenger (SAW), to judge between them, is that they say: "We hear and we obey." And such are the prosperous ones (who will live forever in Paradise). (An-Nur 24:51)
6 And whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger (SAW), fears Allâh, and keeps his duty (to Him), such are the successful ones. (An-Nur 24:52)

7 Say: "Obey Allâh and obey the Messenger, but if you turn away, he (Messenger Muhammad SAW) is only responsible for the duty placed on him (i.e. to convey Allâh's Message) and you for that placed on you. If you obey him, you shall be on the right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to convey (the message) in a clear way (i.e. to preach in a plain way)." (An-Nur 24:54)

8 And perform As¬Salât (Iqâmat¬as¬Salât), and give Zakât and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) that you may receive mercy (from Allâh). (An-Nur 24:56)
9 and whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will be admitted to Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), to abide therein, and that will be the great success. (An-Nisa 4:13)

10 And whosoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and transgresses His limits, He will cast him into the Fire, to abide therein; and he shall have a disgraceful torment. (An-Nisa 4:14)

11 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Obey Allâh and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW)." But if they turn away, then Allâh does not like the disbelievers. (Aali Imran 3:32)

12 And many a town (population) revolted against the Command of its Lord and His Messengers, and We called it to a severe account (i.e. torment in this worldly life), and shall punish it with a horrible torment (in Hell, in the Hereafter). (At-Talaq 65:8)

13 But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad SAW) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission. (An-Nisa 4:65)

14 Indeed in the Messenger of Allâh (Muhammad SAW) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day and remembers Allâh much. (Al-Ahzab 33:21)
15 And let those who oppose the Messenger's (Muhammad SAW) commandment (i.e. his Sunnah legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements, etc.) (among the sects) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant, etc.) befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them. (An-Nur 24:63)

16 Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allâh then follow me (i.e. accept Islâmic Monotheism, follow the Qur'ân and the Sunnah), Allâh will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Aali Imran 3:31)

17 And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it), and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Severe in punishment. (Al-Hashr 59:7)

There are many other verses of Holy Quran which highlight the importance of Quran and Sunnah.

Similarly there are many hadiths which highlight the importance of Quran and Sunnah as sets of commands.Some of them are as follows:

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
That he heard 'Umar speaking while standing on the pulpit of the Prophet in the morning (following the death of the Prophet), when the people had sworn allegiance to Abu Bakr. He said the Tashah-hud before Abu Bakr, and said, "Amma Ba'du (then after) Allah has chosen for his Apostle what is with Him (Paradise) rather than what is with you (the world). This is that Book (Quran) with which Allah guided your Apostle, so stick to it, for then you will be guided on the right path as Allah guided His Apostle with it." (Sahih Bukaree,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 374)

Narrated Ubaidullah:
Ibn 'Abbas said, "Why do you ask the people of the scripture about anything while your Book (Quran) which has been revealed to Allah's Apostle is newer and the latest? You read it pure, undistorted and unchanged, and Allah has told you that the people of the scripture (Jews and Christians) changed their scripture and distorted it, and wrote the scripture with their own hands and said, 'It is from Allah,' to sell it for a little gain. Does not the knowledge which has come to you prevent you from asking them about anything? No, by Allah, we have never seen any man from them asking you regarding what has been revealed to you!" (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 461)

Narrated Abal Minhal:
Abu Barza said, "(O people!) Allah makes you self-sufficient or has raised you high with Islam and with Muhammad (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 376)

Narrated Abdullah bin Dinar:
'Abdullah Bin 'Umar wrote to 'Abdul Malik bin Marwan, swearing allegiance to him: 'I swear allegiance to you in that I will listen and obey what is in accordance with the Laws of Allah and the Tradition of His Apostle as much as I can.' (Sahih Bukahree,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 377)

Narrated Hudhaifa:
Allah's Apostle salal laho aliehi wasalam said to us, "Honesty descended from the Heavens and settled in the roots of the hearts of men (faithful believers), and then the Quran was revealed and the people read the Quran, (and learnt it from it) and also learnt it from the Sunna." Both Quran and Sunna strengthened their (the faithful believers') honesty. (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 381)

Narrated 'Abdullah:
The best talk (speech) is Allah's Book 'Quran), and the best way is the way of Muhammad, and the worst matters are the heresies (those new things which are introduced into the religion); and whatever you have been promised will surely come to pass, and you cannot escape (it). (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 382)

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle salal laho aliehi wasalam said, "All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse." They said, "O Allah's Apostle! Who will refuse?" He said, "Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it)." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 384)

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:
Some angels came to the Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam while he was sleeping. Some of them said, "He is sleeping." Others said, "His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake." Then they said, "There is an example for this companion of yours." One of them said, "Then set forth an example for him." Some of them said, "He is sleeping." The others said, "His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake." Then they said, "His example is that of a man who has built a house and then offered therein a banquet and sent an inviter (messenger) to invite the people. So whoever accepted the invitation of the inviter, entered the house and ate of the banquet, and whoever did not accept the invitation of the inviter, did not enter the house, nor did he eat of the banquet." Then the angels said, "Interpret this example to him so that he may understand it." Some of them said, "He is sleeping.'' The others said, "His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake." And then they said, "The houses stands for Paradise and the call maker is Muhammad; and whoever obeys Muhammad, obeys Allah; and whoever disobeys Muhammad, disobeys Allah. Muhammad separated the people (i.e., through his message, the good is distinguished from the bad, and the believers from the disbelievers)." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 385)

Narrated Abu Musa:
The Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam said, "My example and the example of what I have been sent with is that of a man who came to some people and said, 'O people! I have seen the enemy's army with my own eyes, and I am the naked warner; so protect yourselves!' Then a group of his people obeyed him and fled at night proceeding stealthily till they were safe, while another group of them disbelieved him and stayed at their places till morning when the army came upon them, and killed and ruined them completely So this is the example of that person who obeys me and follows what I have brought (the Quran and the Sunna), and the example of the one who disobeys me and disbelieves the truth I have brought."(Sahih Bukharee Volume 9, Book 92, Number 387)

Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam did something as it was allowed from the religious point of view but some people refrained from it. When the Prophet heard of that, he, after glorifying and praising Allah, said, "Why do some people refrain from doing something which I do? By Allah, I know Allah more than they." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 404)

Narrated Ibn Abi Mulaika:
Once the two righteous men, i.e., Abu Bakr and 'Umar were on the verge of destruction (and that was because): When the delegate of Bani Tamim came to the Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam , one of them (either Abu Bakr or 'Umar) recommended Al-Aqra' bin Habis At-Tamimi Al-Hanzali, the brother of Bani Majashi (to be appointed as their chief), while the other recommended somebody else. Abu Bakr said to 'Umar, "You intended only to oppose me." 'Umar said, "I did not intend to oppose you!" Then their voices grew louder in front of the Prophet whereupon there was revealed: 'O you who believe! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet..a great reward.' (49.2-3) Ibn Az-Zubair said, 'Thence forward when 'Umar talked to the Prophet, he would talk like one who whispered a secret and would even fail to make the Prophet hear him, in which case the Prophet would ask him (to repeat his words)."(Sahih Bukharee Volume 9, Book 92, Number 405)

Narrated Humaid:
I heard Muawiya bin Abi Sufyan delivering a sermon. He said, "I heard the Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam saying, "If Allah wants to do a favor to somebody, He bestows on him, the gift of understanding the Quran and Sunna. I am but a distributor, and Allah is the Giver. The state of this nation will remain good till the Hour is established, or till Allah's Order comes." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 415)

Narrated 'Abdullah:
Allah's Apostle salal laho aliehi wasalam said, "Do not wish to be like anybody except in two cases: The case of a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and that of a man whom Allah has given religious wisdom (i.e., Qur'an and Sunna) and he gives his verdicts according to it and teaches it." (to others i.e., religious knowledge of Qur'an and Sunna (Prophet's Traditions)). "(Sahih Bukharee Volume 9, Book 92, Number 419)

Zaid bin Arqam narrated :
that Muhammad salal laho aliehi wasalam said: "Indeed, I am leaving among you, that which if you hold fast to them, you shall not be misguided after me. One of then is greater than the other: (First is) The book of Allah is a rope extended from the sky to the earth, and (the second is) my family, the people of my house (ahlul bait), and they shall not split until they meet me at the hawd, so look at how you deal with them after me." (Sahih). (Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Volume 6, Chapter 31, Number 3788)

Companions of Rasool salal lahoa aliehi wasalam strictly followed Quran and Sunnah in all affairs of life.Some of the incidents quoted in authentic hadiths are as follows:

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas:
Uyaina bin Hisn bin Hudhaifa bin Badr came and stayed (at Medina) with his nephew Al-Hurr bin Qais bin Hisn who has one of those whom 'Umar used to keep near him, as the Qurra' (learned men knowing Quran by heart) were the people of Umar's meetings and his advisors whether they were old or young. 'Uyaina said to his nephew, "O my nephew! Have you an approach to this chief so as to get for me the permission to see him?" His nephew said, "I will get the permission for you to see him." (Ibn 'Abbas added: ) So he took the permission for 'Uyaina, and when the latter entered, he said, "O the son of Al-Khattab! By Allah, you neither give us sufficient provision nor judge among us with justice." On that 'Umar became so furious that he intended to harm him. Al-Hurr, said, "O Chief of the Believers!" Allah said to His Apostle 'Hold to forgiveness, command what is good (right), and leave the foolish (i.e. do not punish them).' (7.199) and this person is among the foolish." By Allah, 'Umar did not overlook that Verse when Al-Hurr recited it before him, and 'Umar said to observe (the orders of) Allah's Book strictly." (See Hadith No. 166, Vol. 6) (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 389)

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
The Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam wore a gold ring and then the people followed him and wore gold rings too. Then the Prophet said, "I had this golden ring made for myself. He then threw it away and said, "I shall never put it on." Thereupon the people also threw their rings away.( Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 401)

Narrated Ata:
I heard Jabir bin 'Abdullah in a gathering saying, "We, the companions of Allah's Apostle salal laho aliehi wasalam assumed the state of Ihram to perform only Hajj without 'Umra." Jabir added, "The Prophet arrived (at Mecca) on the fourth of Dhul-Hijja. And when we arrived (in Mecca) the Prophet ordered us to finish the state of Ihram, saying, "Finish your lhram and go to your wives (for sexual relation)." Jabir added, "The Prophet did not oblige us (to go to our wives) but he only made that legal for us. Then he heard that we were saying, "When there remains only five days between us and the Day of Arafat he orders us to finish our Ihram by sleeping with our wives in which case we will proceed to 'Arafat with our male organs dribbling with semen?' (Jabir pointed out with his hand illustrating what he was saying). Allah's Apostle stood up and said, 'You (People) know that I am the most Allah-fearing, the most truthful and the best doer of good deeds (pious) from among you. If I had not brought the Hadi with me, I would have finished my Ihram as you will do, so finish your Ihram. If I had formerly known what I came to know lately, I would not have brought the Hadi with me.' So we finished our Ihram and listened to the Prophet and obeyed him." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 464)

All the above mentioned verses of Quran and authentic hadiths clearly indicate that Islam is based fundamentally on two commands :

1 Quran
2 Authentic Hadiths

Why blindly follow others besides prophet salal laho aliehi waslaam????

Now question is raised that why should we blindly follow others?Supporters of Taqleed say that we should blindly follow Imams and ulemas because they have more knowledge than us.It is a matter of fact that Imams and ulemas have more knowledge than common man but the important thing is that how can we blindly follow them due to their superior knowledge .Indeed we can ask and consult them in matters in which we are ignorant as Allas swt has said in the Holy Quran:

So ask of those who know the Scripture , if you know not. (An-Nahl 16:43)

The two things are mentioned in the above mentioned verse:

1 We can ask and consult people of knowledge
2 We should ask if we donot know

It means we should ask but we cannot blindly follow any alim or Imam.Second thing is that if we have authentic knowledge of some thing we can act on it without asking any alim.

Those people who stress on the importance of Taqleed should also bear this thing in mind that when we say Taqleed is obligatory or recommended we mean to say:

1 Scholar or Imam is flawless
2 He has complete knowledge of Quran and Sunnah
3 He does not make any mistake in deduction and interpretation
4 He does not forget any thing from Quran and Sunnah
5 His opinion is the best and any opinion against his opinion should be rejected

If any of the above mentioned attribute is missing in scholar than indeed he cannot be followed blindly and he can be asked for evidence from Quran and Sunnah.And a minute observation can make it clear that no one except Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam was having all the above mentioned traits .So we have to follow only Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam in all the matters related to the deen.

Here are some of the hadiths which make it clear that opinion should not be give preference on Quran and Sunnah:

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:
I heard the Prophet saying, "Allah will not deprive you of knowledge after he has given it to you, but it will be taken away through the death of the religious learned men with their knowledge. Then there will remain ignorant people who, when consulted, will give verdicts according to their opinions whereby they will mislead others and go astray." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 410)

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba:
'Umar bin Al-Khattab asked (the people) about the Imlas of a woman, i.e., a woman who has an abortion because of having been beaten on her abdomen, saying, "Who among you has heard anything about it from the Prophet?" I said, "I did.'' He said, "What is that?" I said, "I heard the Prophet saying, "Its Diya (blood money) is either a male or a female slave.' " 'Umar said, "Do not leave till you present witness in support of your statement." So I went out, and found Muhammad bin Maslama. I brought him, and he bore witness with me that he had heard the Prophet saying, "Its Diya (blood money) is either a male slave or a female slave." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 420)

This hadith makes it clear that Umar radi Allahu anhu was not ready to accept the opinions of even trustworthy sahaba without evidence .

Narrated 'Ubai bin 'Umar:
Abu Musa asked permission to enter upon 'Umar, but seeing that he was busy, he went away. 'Umar then said, "Didn't I hear the voice of 'Abdullah bin Qais? Allow him to come in." He was called in and 'Umar said to him, "What made you do what you did." He replied, "We have been instructed thus by the Prophet" 'Umar said, "Bring proof (witness) for this, other wise I will do so-and-so to you." Then 'Abdullah bin Qais went to a gathering of the Ansar who then said, "None but the youngest of us will give the witness for it." So Abu Said Al-Khudri got up and said, "We used to be instructed thus (by the Prophet)." 'Umar said, "This tradition of the Prophet remained hidden from me. Business in the market kept me busy." (Sahih Bukharee Volume 9, Book 92, Number 451)

Once again thiis hadith makes it clear that Umar radi Allahu anhu was not ready to accept the opinions of even trustworthy sahaba without evidence.

Similarly the misconception that some scholars donot make mistake in deduction and interpretation has been rejected in the following hadiths:

Narrated 'Amr bin Al-'As:
That he heard Allah's Apostle salal laho aliehi wasalam saying, "If a judge gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is correct (i.e. agrees with Allah and His Apostle's verdict) he will receive a double reward, and if he gives a verdict according to the best of his knowledge and his verdict is wrong, (i.e. against that of Allah and His Apostle) even then he will get a reward ." (Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 92, Number 450)

Indeed when an alim or judge makes a mistake he will be getting rewards but duty of Muslims is to follow the right opinion in that case.

What Sahabas used to do when they found the opinion of some one as invalid????

We can also see that Sahabas use to follow seniors among them only when there was evidence from Quran and Sunnah and when there was no evidence they refuted each other.Some of the incidences are quoted below:

Saalim ibn 'Abdullaah ibn 'Umar said:
"I was sitting with Ibn 'Umar (radi Allaahu 'anhu) in the mosque once, when a man from the people of Syria came to him and asked him about continuing the 'Umrah onto the Hajj (known as Hajj Tamattu'). Ibn 'Umar replied, 'It is a good and beautiful thing.' The man said, 'But your father (i.e. 'Umar ibn al-Khattaab) used to forbid it!' So he said, 'Woe to you! If my father used to forbid something which the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) practised and commanded, would you accept my father's view, or the order of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) ?' He replied, 'The order of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam).' He said, 'So go away from me.' (Ahmad Number 5700 , Tirmidhi ,Number 2/82)

This hadith indicates that Abdullah bin Umer radi Allahu anhu was not even ready to accept the sayings of his great father when he thought that it was not supported with evidence from sunnah of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam

The wife has complete right over his Mahr/alimony, her husband can only use it if she willingly and happily allows it. Verse 4 Allah swt says:

“Give women their bridal gift upon marriage, though if they are happy to give up some of it for you, you may enjoy it with a clear conscience.”

During theCaliphate of Umar Farooq (RA), people were giving an excessive amount for Mahr/alimony. He (RA) wanted to control this activity by limiting it to a certain amount. A lady questioned him in a public gathering and told him that he had no right to limit the amount as the Holy Quran has not set any limit on it. Umar (RA) was never reluctant to accept the truth so he corrected himself and exclaimed: “ A woman uttered the truth and Umer made the mistake. Every person of Madinah is a better jurist than Umar.” (Tafseer ibn-e-Kaseer)

This incidence is an eye opening incident for those who think Taqleed is obligatory at least for a lay man.

Narrated 'Ikrima:
Some Zanadiqa (atheists) were brought to 'Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn 'Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's Apostle forbade it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"( Sahih Bukharee,Volume 9, Book 84, Number 57)

The above mentioned hadith makes this thing clear that no one can be followed without evidence from Quran and sunnah.

If we will blindly follow an alim indeed we are thinking that either he is an innocent person or he has been appointed by Allah swt and in many cases it may lead to shirk .Allah swt has mentioned in Holy Quran :

They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allâh (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allâh)( (At-Tawbah 9:31)
If Jews and Christians made their rabbis and monks as lords by blindly following them what will be the status of those Muslims who will make blindly follow their religious leaders.

So all those people who think that Taqleed of Four Imams is compulsory should rectify their thinking against Quran,authentic hadiths and traditions of great companions of Rasool salal laho aliehi wasalam.They should also concentrate on the saying of Hod aliehis salam mentioned in Quran.

Allah swt says:

(Hûd) said: "Torment and wrath have already fallen on you from your Lord. Dispute you with me over names which you have named - you and your fathers, with no authority from Allâh? Then wait, I am with you among those who wait." (Al-A'raf 7:71)

And they should concentrate on following hadith:

Muhammad Ibn al-Alâ' told us that Ibn Numayr reported from Mujâlid from Ibn Aamir from Jâbir that Umar Ibn al-Khattâb brought a copy of the Torah to the Prophet salal laho alehi wasalamand said: "O Apostle of God, this is a copy of the Torah." But [the Prophet] kept silent. Then cUmar started reading and the face of the Prophet kept changing. So, Abu Bakr interrupted him violently: "Don't you see the face of the Prophet(P)?" cUmar looked at the Prophet's face and said "May God preserve me from His anger and from the anger of his Apostle(P), we accepted God as Lord and Islâm as religion and Muhammad as prophet." Then the Prophet salal laho aliehi wasalam said: "By the One Who owns Muhammad's soul, if Moses aliehis salam appeared to you and you followed him and left me, you would go astray from the right path and if he were alive and reached [the time of] my prophethood he would have followed me.(Sunan Darmee, Number436)

Lets think that status of Moses aliehis salam is higher or status of four Imams .If blind follower of Moses aliehis salam is not on straight path how can be blind follower of four Imams be on right track.We can follow any one with evidence but cannot follow any one blindly. And why should we follow some one blindly when Allah swt has given us eyes,sense organs and brain .

Allah swt says in the Holy Quran:

Have We not made for him a pair of eyes? And a tongue and a pair of lips? And shown him the two ways (good and evil)? (Al-Balad 90:8-10)

I donot agree with some Arab scholars who think Taqleed is obligatory or recommended .It means they are snatching the right to know from the common man. Moreover practically none of them are doing Taqleed in reality and they refute each other on different issues.

For instance I give an example if Taqleed is essential for a common man and common man starts doing taqleed of Shiekh albani rahima hullah and starts following his opinion on matters of Hijab and recitation of Surah Fatihah in Jehree salah. Will we guide that common man or will allow him to keep on doing Taqleed .

I also want to add opinions of some of the great scholars of the past on this issue . So all brothers and sisters should wait for the while.May Allah guide us all to the right path Ameen.

Quranic taweez is no where shirk not even a single muhaddith said it is shirk, Talib Ur Rahman said it is allowed, others said it is Haram.

They disliked all types of amulets whether they contained Quranic texts or notAnd Ibraheem he is Imam Ibne Yazeed Al Nakh`ee Abu Imraan Trustworthy and he was in biggest Jurists, His saying (They disliked all types of amulets till end ) Meaning Companions of Abdullah bin Mas`ood like Alqamah, Aswad,Abu Wail,Al Harith bin Suwaid,Obaid as Sulemani,Masrooq,Rabee bin Khatheem,Suwaid bin Ghaflah etc and they are all big Tabiyeen [Fathul Majeed Chaper 8 ( باب ما جاء فى الرقى والتمائم) Chapter of Ruqa and Amulets]

Shaykh Saalih Al Fawzan saidAn Amulet is defined as an object worn specially around the child’s neck as a charm to protect him from the evil and envious eye. However some scholars of our Salaf allowed attaching Qur'anic amulets, whereas others such as Ibn Mas'ud prohibited it all together.[Al-Mulakhas Sharh Kitab At-Tawhid Page no: 80 of Arabic and page 78 of English version]

So Quranic taweez are disliked or allowed or prohibited, there is difference of opinion no one said it is shirk. Please do not put fatwas according to your own thinking.

Brother for me, saying of Prophet Muhammad(SAW) is enough. Beloved Prophet Muhammad(SAW) called it shirk. And if you do qiyaas then you will say "No no, it was about jewish or satanic amulet"... And i ask from Ahlul Qiyaas, Why did not Prophet(SAW) differentiate it??? And how can you say it was only related to Satanic amulet? While Prophet(SAW) did not differentiate.

No where Prophet peace be upon him said Quranic taweez is shirk, i believe you have to see the opinions of the salaf, for me your OWN UNDERSTANDING has nothing to do with Islam, you are ummati of Prophet peace be upon him your own understandings are not evidence for me.

Your own understandings holds no value like the own opinion of qadiyaniyah holds nothing and it is against the understandings of sahaba tabiyeen and all the muhadditheen of this ummah.

and as for the hadith you provided it clearly states that people were their to accept Islam and fir sure they were wearing some mumbo jumbo because a kafir will never wear Quranic amulets. Quran is the speech of Allah you can not say you are associating partners with Allah if you are wearing Allah's speech (Quranic verses)

There are alots of Sunnah Dhikr which protect us from all sort of evils, satanic waswasaas, magic, bad eye, envy of jinnaat and insaan, accidents. And Beloved Prophet(SAW) told us to recite these Dhikrs.

Reality of 786 In Islam

You must have seen this number somewhere, remember where did you see this number? If it is hard for you to remember, then do not worry, this is the mathematical number of Bismillah hirrahman nirrahim. There is an ilm called “Islamic numerology” which gives people this ability to convert the complete surah’s into few numbers. You will find the naqsh of every surah which are squares and they are further divided into cell and in each cell there is written a number.

We do not know and do not find any evidence from Quran or hadith about numerology. We do not have any hadith even fake hadith which supports the numerology. When there is no single evidence from islam about this conversion, how can Quran then be converted into numbers?

Some people argue that numerology and nqash makes it easy for everyone to carry those big surahs of Quran that otherwise cannot be carried everywhere. Logical brains should come up with this question that, how can those numbers be same like the surah? What is the need of carrying surahs of Quran? Is there exemption from ALLAH swt that we should not understand Quran but carry it in numbers?

What is the method with which verses and surahs are converted into those numbers? Some say it is the number of words and alphabets, we say okei, the nmber represent words, what is so sacred about the number of words in a surah? Or number of alphabets in the surah? The sacred thing is surah itself not the number of its words.

Same thing we see in 786. Instead of writing complete verse people write 786 in their letters, in their speeches and on the face of their houses etc. this number 786 cannopt replace the verse which is so blessed and pure in meaning that when it was revealed, shaitan was beaten with thrones and every time when some muslim reads it satan is beaten.

This numerology has come from shiaism and today some brelvi and sufi people practice it and promote it. We must fear ALLAH and must not dare to change what HE had given us from understanding. The best way to carry Quran always is to memories it. in this way Quran wil be safe in heart and mind and there will be no need os taweez etc.

Martyr in Islam

Martyrdom in islam has the highest rank among all the good deeds done by a muslim. Shahadat is that brilliant rank which is bestowed on very few, those who are really blessed. Those who die in the name of ALLAH, for ALLAH, in this way of ALLAH are called shaheed.

Al-Quran 4:69

“And whoso obeys ALLAH and this Messenger shall be among those on whom ALLAH has bestowed HIS blessings - the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous. And an excellent company are they.”
There are few people who are near to ALLAH swt because of their deeds. These are the prophets, the truthful and the martyrs. Thus ALLAH swt has identified HIS liked people and HIS loved people.

This had become a trend that every well known person who dies in an accident or every politician who dies while he is in power or people who die in enmity are called shaheed at once.

For example, it has become a trend in Pakistan that if a politican dies he is called shaheed even if he is a gustakh-e rasool. But in islam, martyr is not every tom dik and harry. A martyr is one who is brave and not only brave but also a very practicing muslims. He is the one who fights for ALLAH, and his death happens due to that fight. He is not the one who fights for the country and then dies and called shaheed. He is not the one who dies in personal enmity and called shaheed.

The term shahadat is pure and cannot be related to anything which we wish. In an hadith, Muhammad s.a.w.w identified that there are some people who, when die attain the status of murder, among them are those who die for ALLAH, they have the highest rank, then there are people who die because of drowning in water, those who die due to stomach disease etc. there are no politicians, or fighters of army no fighter of tribes, no people who die for personal enmity etc who are called martyrs in islam.

Second thing is that ALLAH swt said that those who died as martyr should not be called dead people. They are alive and ALLAH swt is giving them rizq in His own ways. this looks so strange that the martyrs are not dead, this shows how blessed they are. People have seen those who died in ALLAH’s name that their wounds were fresh, their blood was fresh, their bodies were fresh and warm as if they were sleeping. There was a smile on their face as if they are alive.

Thus, even from the dead, some people have higher rank, the martyrs have that rank. May ALLAH choose our lives and give us the honorable death of martyrdom.

Dua to Marry a Woman of Choice

it is matter of choice and likeness. islam has given ful permission to both boys and girls that they can marry person of their choice and they cannot be forced to marry the one who they dont like.

when that girl does not like you, she has expressed her emotions by saying no. so, you should also move on. by makign dua you cannot bribe ALLAH swt or cannot change her decision.

the only thing i am saying is, when that sister has already expressed her emotions for you, you should also move on.

making dua for some one for his goodness in encouraged and a good act. that is another topic which is not related to your issue.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/135):

If the heart loves Allaah alone and is sincerely devoted to Him, it will not even think of loving anyone else in the first place, let alone falling in love. When a heart falls in love, that is due to the lack of love for Allaah alone. Hence because Yoosuf loved Allaah and was sincerely devoted to Him, he did not fall into the trap of love, rather Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Thus it was, that We might turn away from him evil and illegal sexual intercourse. Surely, he was one of Our chosen, (guided) slaves”

[Yoosuf 12:24]

As for the wife of al-‘Azeez, she was a mushrik as were her people, hence she fell into this trap. End quote.

The Muslim must save himself from this fate and not fall short in guarding against it and ridding himself of it. If he falls short in that regard and follows the path of love, by continuing to steal haraam glances or listening to haraam things, and being careless in the way he speaks to the opposite sex, etc, then he is affected by love as a result, then he is sinning and will be subject to punishment for his actions.

How many people have been careless at the beginning of this problem, and thought that they were able to rid themselves of it whenever they wanted, or that they could stop at a certain limit and not go any further, until the sickness took a strong hold and no doctor or remedy could help?

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Rawdat al-Muhibbeen (147):

If the cause happens by his choice, he has no excuse for the consequences that are beyond his control, but if the reason is haraam, the drunkard had no excuse. Undoubtedly following one glance with another and allowing oneself to keep thinking about the person is like drinking intoxicants: he is to be blamed for the cause.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/129):

Love is a psychological sickness, and if it grows strong it affects the body, and becomes a physical sickness, either as diseases of the brain, which are said to be diseases caused by waswaas, or diseases of the body such as weakness, emaciation and so on. End quote.

And he (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/132):

Loving a non-mahram woman leads to many negative consequences, the full extent of which is known only to the Lord of people. It is a sickness that affects the religious commitment of the sufferer, then it may also affect his mind and body. End quote.

It is sufficient to note that one of the effects of love of a member of the opposite sex is enslavement of the heart which is held captive to the loved one. So love is a door that leads to humiliation and servility. That is sufficient to put one off this sickness.

Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/185):

If a man is in love with a woman, even if she is permissible for him, his heart remains enslaved to her, and she can control him as she wishes, even though outwardly he appears to be her master, because he is her husband; but in fact he is her prisoner and slave, especially if she is aware of his need and love for her. In that case, she will control him like a harsh and oppressive master controls his abject slave who cannot free himself from him. Rather he is worse off than that, because enslavement of the heart is worse than enslavement of the body. End quote.

Attachment to the opposite sex will not happen to a heart that is filled with love of Allaah; it only affects a heart that is empty and weak, so it is able to gain control of it, then when it becomes strong and powerful it is able to defeat the love of Allaah and lead the person into shirk. Hence it is said: Love is the action of an empty heart.

from a girls psychological perspective i can only say brother that if she does not want to get married with u then dont try too much. the much you would try to convince her, the much she would try to go away.

there is a sense that works inside a girl, a 'click' happens and she says 'yes' or 'no'. and it would be really very sad thing for her to marry a man she does not like, thats why Allah has given her rights to say yes/no. sometimes there may be no any reason that she can tell.... it just happens, the guy may be very good, but the girl may not like him, without any due reasons. if she wont be happy, u would also not be happy.

After going through these posts, I was afraid that brother Asadullah would fall into Arim's trap. ARIM sounded much like Shahrukh Khan in NDTV (We the people) who is like a Filled Cup of Water which cannot accept anymore water into it. 1. When she doesnt like, why to force her..thats not fair to her.
2. If you insist, pray to Allah(SWT), either He gives you or gives something even better... Leave it to him.. Allah(SWT) is with people who exercises patience.

I am not formaly educated in Islam to give you the right dua.. But thought I would share this...some people will find someone attractive while the other wouldn't, that is common. And it is very normal for us to think, he/she as ultimate soulmate. Only Allah(SWT) knows who is ideal match. Not every love marriage is successful nor every arranged marriage is a disaster.

I have witnessed people who married their sweethearts, but living a helllife and also people who moved on without having opportunity to marry their crush, but living very happily.

Do not get frustrated or depressed over this. As sister Noorul Huda pointed out, love is also a sickness. That will affect one's ability to focus on studies, career and day to day life. In this turbulence, do not let your career/future be affected... thats the last thing we want.

Among some beautiful trends of the society, one is gift exchange. This is still there in every society of the world that people like to give gifts and they get gifts as well.

Gifts are given and gotten as a gesture of friendship and concern. When someone gives us gift on some occasion we feel happy that the person who gave us that gift thinks about us. He took some time and went for shopping and chose something for us, he took time for us from his life and gave us that gift. At that time, pure smile surrounds our lips and that is the moment when no evil thought gets into our head. This is why it is encouraged in islam to give gifts. In this way love between people increases. They like to think about others without any evil intentions when they know that their relatives love them and care for them.

Actually, giving gifts is to show a gesture of care and love. These are the two most needed attributes for us and for our society. Since people do not care for others and they do not feel love for others, they have created their own worlds which are totally materialistic. In their worlds, there is no place for this brotherly love and care, the only thing their worlds contain is materialism.

Some people say that they still give gifts and they spend loads of money on them. Buying gifts for others is good but buying gifts and showing that you have spent money on it kills the real meaning of gift. Gift should not be given on specific occasions. You can give fruits as gift when going to someone’s home, you can give flowers as gift you can give any small thing as gift to others without expecting return because this expectation kills those good deeds which you earn by giving gifts.

A Short Explanation of Holy Quran

Quran is the last book of Allah swt revealed on last prophet Muhammad salal laho aliehi waslam.It is the only book which is free from all kinds of error and flaw .It has been preserved both in the form of book and also memorized by the Muslims generation after generations.

It consists of 30 sections and has 114 chapters .Some chapters are longer where as some others are shorter.Some of these chapters were revealed before the migration of Holy Prophet to Makkah where as some others were revealed after migration to Medinah.

It discusses all those points which are necessary for success of human beings in this life and hereafter. Indeed no one can know the path of success better than the Creator himself .

So any one who wants to be on the right path should:

Recite this book
Try to grasp its meanings in depth.
Try to act on it sincerely

This book has different names like

Noor which means light.
Burhan which means evidence.
Furqan which means discriminator.
Quran which means a book which is most frequently read.
Zikar which means Remembrance.

All these names are linked to different attributes of the Quran and when a person recites this book he comes to know that all the names are true in their spirit and essence.

Summary of Surah Rehman

Surah rehman is one of the most beautiful surahs of Quran. In every surah of Quran, some specific thing has been talked. Like in surah baqarah, ALLAH swt has talked about important matters of din. Similarly, in surah infal and surah tuba, ALLAH swt has talked about war and issues related to it. similarly, in surah ikhlas, ALLAH swt has talked about the oneness of Him and has given us a touch stone to test the GODness of gods.

In surah rehman, ALLAH swt tells us the blessings he has given us in this world and the blessings of jannat. ALLAH swt asks many times in this surah , men and jinns both that how many of his blessings will be reject and forget? ALLAH swt has described the blessings of jannat in such a beautiful tone and manner that everyone wants to be there at once.

This surah has the nice tone and heart touching effects. Whoever listens to it, he feels a peace touching his heart and comfort flowing though his veins. Many people use this surah as a cure for their diseases. In surah rehman, ALLAH swt starts with AR_REHMAN i.e. the most beneficent. Who taught the Quran and then the human creation and then the talk goes on to the creation of fruits and all the blessings that He has created for men and jinns.

In this surah ALLAH swt talks mostly about those who are believers and who have done good deeds that they will enter jannat in a mannaer which will be honorable. In jannat they will wear beautiful garments, and live like they should live because they have pleased ALLAH swt in earth.

ALLAH swt also talks about those who did bad deeds in this world and will be thrown to hell for their deeds and their rejection of faith and truth. Just by reading this surah, one can understand completely thr blessings of ALLAH and the reward of jannat.

Soul in Islam

Soul is the true self of every living being, once out of the body, it will never get into body before the Day of Judgment. The concept of rooh or soul in islam is very different from other religions. It is common perception of people that soul can come again to this world and soul can take revenge and never leaves without it is satisfied. All these are plain stories there is no soul that can ever come back to this world from barzakh once it leaves the body at the time of death.

Before going into detail of this topic, first see the verse of holy Quran given below;

AL-Quran 6:060
“It is He Who takes possession of your soul at night, and He knows everything you do by day. Then He lets you wake up for the next day. (This happens) till you complete the prescribed period _ (your life span). Finally, towards Him is your ultimate destination. At that time, He will tell you everything you used to do.”
From this verse of Quran we should remain in no more doubts about the status and purpose of soul. Unfortunately, living with hindus had made some muslims’ iman weak to the extent that they believe in the soul stories of Hinduism and apply those stories to islam as well. Similarly, we see the same absurd stories of soul called ghosts in Christianity too.

Soul is made of nor i.e. pure light. The pure light belongs to ALLAH only this pure light cannot haras people out of its body. This noori structure cannot escape or break the code of ALLAH. It is the shaan of ALLAH swt that if he entered soul into us one time HE can do it several times, but every soul is given only one chance to enter this world and to pass its defined time. Once the time is over soul is taken back.

Some people do not go to grave yards because they fear the souls of dead people in grave yards. Grave yard is simply that place where those who died are buried. When someone dies, he becomes as lifeless as the chairs and tables in our houses. If we do not fear those chairs and tables, we should not fear that dead body as well.

ALLAH swt has not made death as a factor of fear for us, but death is a lesson for those who are still alive. A dead person becomes helpless. He cannot move himself according to his desire, because that is just a dead, lifeless structure.

The real self of you is your soul. Your soul will see what will come to you after death. You should prepare for that which will come to your way for sure, you should not fear those dead bodies.

To conclude, soul is that part of us which will leave us after our turn in this world is over. So, instead of creating false stories about souls, fear what will you see in the world which you will see after your body reaches its grave?

Money is Important but it’s not Everything

Money is that alchemist, which has told people that secret to convert everything into gold which is not known to them otherwise. It is with money that people buy their needed things. Without money, even the very basic necessities cannot be fulfilled.

The general perception about money is that it is very bad and it is evil of evils. But this is wrong attitude. Mostly religious class keeps this opinion about money. Had it been this wrong thing, ALLAH swt would have never directed us to “spend”.

ALLAH swt says that He tests all of His slaves, some by giving them riches and some by giving them nothing. So when ALLAH swt gives His people money, He tests them further. Those who spend money in His way, for them money is never bad, those who do not spend money for ALLAH, for them their money is worst and a curse.

There are so many pious men of ALLAH in the past and in present who are rich, but they do not forget to spend and they do not think that their money is their status. We have two prominent examples who were also the caliphs of islam. Hazrat abu bakar siddique and hazrat osman ghani r.a, they were among the first four caliphs of islam who were chosen by ALLAH swt because they were among the best in sahabas. Hazrat abu bakar siddique r.a was among the richest people of makkah who were honored even before he accepted islam. After when he accepted islam, he spent his money in way of ALLAH and gave financial as well as moral support to Muhammad s.a.w.w. the very first person who accepted islam, hazrat khadija r.a. also was a rich female, and usman ghani r.a. also was very rich. And there were many others who never hesitated to spend their money for ALLAH because for them money was important to be spent for ALLAH.

They never cursed their money because they knew that there money was needed to spread and help muslims and islam. But they never thought that their money was important for them or their money made their status. In fact it was their humble nature and their piousness that gave them respect.

Thus, money itself is not bad and it is not everything. Money should be taken as blessing of ALLAh rather than curse it should not be taken as status symbol rather it should be used for islam and for ALLAH. this is the real use of money.

Hazrat Hussain R.A

Do you know who hazrat hussain r.a. was? This was the same person who is commonly known as “imam hussain”. This term imam was attached with hussain r.a. name by some people. Just open a shia source and see how many false and fake stories you will find about hussain r.a. we will surely discuss them in this article but before that we should also know who he was.

Hussain r.a. was grandson of Muhammad s.a.w.w. he was son of hazrat ali r.a. and hazrat Fatimah r.a. hussain r.a. had another brother hazrat Hassan r.a. who is also called imam by shias. Muhammad s.a.w.w called them syeds i.e. from the ahle bait.ahle bait are the people of the family fo Muhammad s.a.w.w.

Muhammad s.a.w.w used to love his grand sons very much. He was so much in love with them that they even used to climb up to His shoulders while He used to offer namaz.

Hazrat hussain r.a. grew up in a family of pious and blessed muslims, his mpther and father both were the blessed and rewarded people of ALLAH. Muhammad s.a.w.w said that Hassan and hussain r.a. will be the leaders of young people in jannat.

Hazrat hussain r.a. is attached with shiaism so much that it looks as if only shias know him and no other person ever knew him. Shias call him masoom that is infallible, the oen who cannot commit mistake, and treat him like some deity. They have associated with him very false stories and have changed that part of history which hid their evil nature from most of us.

Hazrat hussain r.a. was murdered by these shias who now cry and shout for him. They made a political; battle a religious one and presented the image of yazeed as a tyrant evil man. They even have made false hadith with which they give weight to their words. They have associated with him so many lies that hazrat hussain r.a. rather looks as a fictional character than a human.

They say that when hazrat hussain r.a. was martyred and his head was taken off by the yazeed’s army man, a jew washed his head by placing it on a rock. That rock still bleeds. And that hazrat zainab r.a. who was daughter of hussain r.a. used to sleep on his father’s chest. When hazrat hussain r.a. was killed she came out of tent and started calling her father because she was sleepy by then (no sane mind can ever believe this), she suddenly heard a voice from the dead body of her father who was calling her to sleep on his chest (isn’t it a hindu kind of story).

They say that yazeed captured the ladies of the family of hazrat hussain r.a. and threw them into his prison. But the fact is that hazrat zainab’s children were married to yazeed’s children. And these two families had good ties.

Hazrat hussain r.a. wanted to be amir of makkah but hazrat amir mauviya got the amir ship and it was a political debate that who will get the amir ship after him. Hazrat ami muawiya got the amir ship from hazrat Hassan r.a. which means if hazrat amir mauwiya r.a. is to be cursed than shias should also curse hazrat Hassan r.a. (ma’zALLAh) who accepted him as amir.

Hazrat hussain r.a. even accepted the terms of yazeed and yazeed also accepted the terms of him and he made them go to Iraq but on the way the same people captured them who used them against yazeed and killed them. History has been distorted by shias very much but truth also cannot be hid by them.
Hazrat hussain r.a. was martyred by shais and he surely was on right path. He was a human and was not infallible. May ALLAH be pleased with him amin.

Dawah is Responsibility of Every Muslim

Dawah means to invite. In islam this term is used widely to invite people to islam. Inviting others on family gatherings and chit chat forums is very easy but when it comes to invite others to islam, it becomes really very difficult because when you step into this matter, you need to have knowledge and patience.

Without knowledge of islam dawah is useless and without patience, dawah is impossible. ALLAH swt has encouraged His true slaves to invite others to islam time and again in holy Quran.

Al-Quran 41:033
“Nobody’s assertions could be better (and more trustworthy) than the words of a person who invites others towards (the worship of) Allah, acts righteously and says, “Indeed, I am among those who surrender and submit (to Allah).””

In the verse above, ALLAH swt do not generalize the dawah for the high class clerics but it is for everyone because ALLAH swt describes dawah as an attribute of the believers, those who talk about ALLAH all the time and do not waste their times in lughw and false talks.

If we leave the work of dawah to those who we call scholars, then this will make islam look like other religions. For example, jews left the understanding of their religion to their clerics and priests, Christians did the same. Even today we see that very few people in both religions actually know their religious texts and others only do what they are told by those religious people to do. In fact the idea of knowing scriptures is not there in other religions as such.

It is islam that has made it must for its followers to not only understand it but also to spread its message till there is last muslim in this world. This is why Muhammad s.a.w.w said to spread and tells His message to those who were not present in the last sermon of His.

We should not left the dawah work on our scholars, they indeed are doing it, we should also learn Quran and hadith and spread its message and invite others to islam before we are asked on the day of judgment about this most important task. This is the real purpose of our living, now it depends on us as how we make others believe that their way of life is not true but they should be worshiping on God who is God of everyone.

“If you want to live happily, look at those below you”, this is a well known saying. Its meaning is beautiful and vast but it is not understood or if understood then overlooked beautifully because people do not want to quit from the race of life.

Life is made race rather than a test. This is race for money, for riches, for success and for pleasures. This race has no rules, no regulations. Anyone can ditch anyone and push anyone from behind to reach the number one position. How many winners, who used to look incredible and unbeatable, have turned into dust and are no more in this world! How many have left their creations and discoveries as mere lessons for us and how many among us will become the lessons for the coming generations! Pharaoh who used to call himself god is now a mere piece of crap enclosed in a glass box and put in a museum for the people to get lesson from his life.

Life is not a race it is just a test for all of us. Every soul who comes here is not sent to join the race but that soul is sent here to take this test and strive hard to get the maximum marks. In the very beginning of islam, muslims were GOD conscious they were practicing but as soon as the third generation passed (i.e. itebah tabaeen), next generations started to deviate from the right path. Today, there are muslims who recite kalimah and prostrate on graves. Today there are muslims who recite kalimah and associate imams with ALLAH by saying that those imams had the knowledge of ghayb. Today there are muslims who reject the idea of jihad openly which is called as the best deed by ALLAH swt Himself. Today there are muslims who, in order to look modern and rich reject hijab and beard.

This race of becoming rich and successful has made muslims to forget their purpose of life. This race for riches has snatched the peace of mind from people. This is why it is said that in order to be happy, look at those who are poor. People want more and more, they are not stratified with what they have. If they have 10 clothes they want to have 20, and when they get 20 they again want to have 40 because they are in race. They do not see that when they have 10 clothes there are people who have 5 and there are some who have only one.

When the looking at the poor trend becomes common in the society, this race for riches will remain no more. If people look at those who have less than them, they will become grateful of ALLAH and will never like to run after their desires. In this way world can become a better place to live. But this looks rather impossible to convince all of us to look downward not in the upward position.

Inner Beauty

Beauty has many meanings it is not limited to the appearance of things only. Though the appearance creates the first impression but first impression is never the last impression. Physical beauty lasts for sometime this is why it is time bound. We see beautiful faces appear and appreciated then one day they lose their importance and charm and another face takes their place.

This beauty contest is been held on the stage of this world by people since the very beginning of life of humans. The actual thing to be appreciated is not the physical beauty but it should be the inner beauty of the person. It is the inner self which makes one either good or bad. If the nature is good, person looks beautiful if the nature is bad, even the most beautiful face looks ugly.

We humans are the most complex and mysterious creature of ALLAH swt. Just by our thoughts, we can have a beautiful outer self. Those who do good and fear ALLAH they make in themselves a strange kind of attraction with which they attract people. Thus it is not the face but the inner self which can get the real attention. With beautiful outside, and no sense of goodness in heart and soul people fell themselves into filth.

We see women are the most struck group of this filth. Beautiful women like to appear before world. They like to show the world their beauty. Most of them lose their dignity and honor by the hands of men who are always in need of physical beauty. This is why hijab is promoted by islam for both genders. This beauty contest is not limited to women only, but men are also victims of this sickness. Today, boys also fell prey to the filth of the society. They also lose their dignity and honor in the same way as girls lose.

This is why islam does not promote neither concentrate on the physical beauty. It always talks about good deeds and God consciousness. How can one attain the inner beauty? This beauty is connected with the heart. Heart is that part of human which can make him good or bad. Inner beauty is all related to heart. This is why every prophet of ALLAh was a very kind hearted man. Every pious man of ALLAH is kind hearted. Inner beauty is that attribute which can be attained only with good deeds and fear of ALLAH.

Hindu scriptures and oneness of GOD

Though many hindus worship around 33 thousand gods and some surveys have even revealed this astonishing fact that the total gods to be worshiped by hindus are in total 33 caror not 33 thousand. But these gods become false as soon as one turns the pages of the Vedas and learns the vedic concept of god.

There are many religious books of Hinduism but none of them is unanimously followed by all hindus in the world. Some follow Vedas whiel others follow maha baharat and some follow puranas. Thus we do not find a single hindu who follows or accepts all hindu sacred books as true and from god.

In fact, hindus believe that there sacred books have been written by rishees who were sent by god or were the pious men of god. These rishis wrote more than 12 vedas but others were lost and only 12 are remaining. There are claims from hindus that Vedas are the only texts which are not corrupted but all others are corrupted. The concept of one true god is remained only in Vedas today. No other book purely promotes the idea of one god but Vedas. This is the same book which rejects the hindu dislikness for non veg. and its dislikeness for animal sacrifice.

There are several places in Vedas where god is described as only one who cannot be imagined. For example;

“Verily He is one
Single, indivisible, supreme reality. “
- Atharva Veda 13/4/20

This vedic verse shows that the gods of hindus is one who cannot be divided or cannot be two or three or 33 caror. Similarly in another verse the concept of god is described as;

“He is the sole sovereign
Of the universe. “
- Rig Veda 6/36/4
How can hindus then deny the sole sovereign status of their god? They jump and deny when they are told that god is one, they connect everything which contains oneness of god to brahma which is their ultimate god but they reject that their god is actually one. In another vadic verse this concept is again described clearly;

He is one, unparalleled
Through His wondrous, mighty
And formidable laws and deeds.
- Rig Veda 8/1/27

This verse says that the god of hindus is unique who is not like anyone else. This means, the gods hindus worship are not gods at all. They are some fiction characters who had no reality.
In another verse of veda we learn yet another attribute of the god of the hindus.

“There is only One
Who ought to be adored
By the people. “
- Atharva Veda 2/2/1

There are many other verses from Vedas which show that the god of hindus is none other than the god of muslims i.e. ALLAH. Vedas are said to be the oldest scripture on earth. we do not have any authenticative measures to verify the age of Vedas but with utmost surety we can say that the god which hindus used to worship was one god later on they deviated from the right path and kept on worshiping idols.

Jannah is talked about in Quran in many places and it is made clear on us that no eye have ever seen it and no brain can ever imagine that place. Mostly, people even among muslims do not really believe in a place where every bounty which they can think of and they cannot even think of will be present to please the good muslims.

Jannah is mostly considered by the common clerics as a place where they will find many hoors who will please them in every possible way. This is the only thing you will get to know about jannat if you talk to those mulvis who find the only attraction in jannat in form of hoors.

What ALLAH swt and Muhammad s.a.w.w have described about jannat is that it will be a place where the purity will prevail. The purity which we do not know will be there in jannat. In jannat, people will praise ALLAH with every breath. They will praise ALLAH as we breathe as a necessity.

Jannat has 7 stages. The best is called janatul firdus where only those muslims will go who have led their lives as the most pious muslims. And people will enter jannat as per their good deeds. Even those who will enter the lowest jannat will get so much that we cannot even imagine those bounties.

ALLAH swt says that jannat in a place with gardens beneath them streams flow. This means we do not know how those gardens will look like. Jannats will have hoor i.e ladies with purity and honor and their beauty will be like we do not know. Similarly there will be boys who will observe hijab.

Though we are not told much about jannat but even then its blessings are said to be so many and unimaginable. We must understand that that place is a surprise gift for us. The best gift for every good muslim will be to see ALLAH swt. this will be the best thing every muslim entrant of jannat will get.

Benefits of reading Quran with translation

Quran is that book of ALLAH which is a biggest miracle of ALLAH and it will remain the same till the last day. ALLAH swt Himself has promised that He will take care of this book and it will never be corrupted like the previous books. This promise, we see held true because despite of the thousands of tries made by the non muslims, quran is still the same.

Al-Quran 7:204 “When the Quran is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy.”

ALLAH swt has said in several places in Quran that this book should be listened with attention and this book is for understanding and for guidance not for plain recitation. But the trend of understanding Quran has become rather old and today people only know how to read the Arabic written in Quran. When they are told about some verses of Quran, they either reject it or doubt the verses. This is due to lack of understanding of Quran.

Quran is that beautiful book whose vastness cannot be penned down. Though there are only 114 surahs in Quran but every time this book is read, more and more new things come out of the same text. This is another miracle of Quran and can be understood by only those who read it with translation.

There are many benefits of reading Quran with translation. The best of them is that whenever you come across a problem or any issue, you open Quran and you will find the answer from this book. Mostly people deny this by saying that Quran is book of guidance it is not book of magic. This is not true. This book is called miracle and a scripture till last day only because it contains all that people will need for their understanding till the last day of this world.

The second benefit is that when it is read with translation, it makes us able to understand life better and just by reading Quran, we can accept and reject certain practices of society we live it.

Shia islam or shia and islam? What is the correct term? The correct term is shia and islam because islam is only one. There is no shia islam and there is no sunni islam. ALLAH swt given us islam as one religion which is to be followed by all of us without introducing our own created concepts into it and without changing it at all.

But unfortunately, the very first dispute in islam was created by a jew, who apparently accepted islam but he remained a jew til he died. His name was Abdullah bin sabah. He accepted islam to damage this religion and he actually did a great damage to islam by influencing some people who had weak iman. They started calling ali r.a. illah i.e. god. These people made their own history of islam and named it shia islam.

But the reality of shiaism is very ugly and bad. Shias excluded every other sahabi from islam by saying that they became kafirs except the family of ali r.a. they even call the wives of Muhammad s.a.w.w kafir and His other 3 daughters as well. They deviated from the tolerant and logical and true path of islam and took the path of satan.

Today, shias morn, scream, injure themselves which is a sin, and they offer namaz different from us, they do not prefer to go to hajj but they like to go to zirat i.e visiting graves of their imams. They associate infallibility with their 12 imams and they have created stories about muharram that are so alien that nobody believes them.

They curse the pious men of ALLAh about whom HE HIMSELF spoke in Quran. They worship Ali r.a. like god. shia people are so insane that they draw pictures of Muhammad s.a.w.w and ali r.a. and other sahaba and hang them inside their houses. They have imam bargahs which are the sacred places and have more value than mosques.

Shia people have some very strange and alien beliefs like they have horses in their bargahs who they call zuljinnah, they feed that horse with milk and butter and nuts, and they even like to eat the spite of that horse who is sacred to them. They keep the bathing water of dead bodies and use that water as to purify the food. This is not at all islam and this is not at all acceptable by even the non muslims.

The word shia itself is a negative word which has been used in Quran as a negative description of division of people. shia means to divide religion which is sin a big sin. Thus if there is islam there is no shiaism and when there is shiaism, there is not islam.

Waswas Insinuating Thoughts

Waswas are those thoughts which satan infuses in our mind. Sometimes while sitting alone or while thinking, some odd thoughts struck our minds that disturb us. These thoughts might not be given any importance in our daily life by us but the fact is that it is because of waswas for which people suffer psychological diseases.

This is why ALLAH swt has told us a perfect remedy to quell such thoughts. ALLAH swt reveled surah AN_NAS on Muhammad s.a.w.w which was to get rid of false and satanic thoughts.

Surah An-Nas 114: 1-6
*Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
*The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
*The God (for judge) of Mankind,-
*From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),-
*(The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-
*Among Jinns and among men.

Do you think waswas are an ignorable issue? If you think so, you are wrong. It is because of these evil thoughts people broke up, they committed suicides, they killed others and they destroyed their own and others’ lives.

Just look inside your own memories and find out how many false thoughts you have. You doubt some people about who you either do not know or you do not have proofs. You might have fought others for no reason because you heard something and without verifying you reached there to fight.

You might have broken up with your friends because your non sense conclusions made you to reach the conclusion that the person who is your friend is not good. You might have hurt so many people in your life because of these false thoughts. But the person you have hurt the most is none other than you. Because of the evil infusion into your thoughts by satan, you must have lost so much in your life that if now you realize that you will never like to live another day.

There are some people who do not fear ALLAH and try all their evil tricks to hurt people in every possible way. Against such people ALLAH swt tells us to seek HIS refuge.

We all must seek ALLAH’s refuge so that we could save ourselves from those damages that have not come our way yet. And this will definitely help us to realize our own mistakes.

Tolerance In Islam

Patience, forbearance, tolerance; these words describe the ability of a person to ignore the wrongs of the ignorant people. Tolerance is there in roots of islam from the day first. Every messenger who came to guide people towards the path of islam, was patient and tolerant by nature. This is why if others only claim to be tolerant we muslims must be tolerant because this is what has been practiced by every messenger.

Our beloved prophet Muhammad saww is that personality who is called as “best example” by ALLAH swt. He was the most tolerant person on earth because He never abused or cursed anyone. He was such a tolerant person that even before His prophet hood, He was popular for His good nature. After when HE was given prophet hood, Muhammad saw faced so many hardships and He faced so much resistance from His own family but even then He never lost His self control. This is because of His patient nature that Muhammad s.a.w.w was later accepted whole heartedly even by His worst enemies.

Even in Quran, ALLAH swt told us to be tolerant and patient in our life.

Al-Quran 7:199
“You shall resort to pardon, advocate tolerance, and disregard the ignorant.”

In another place, ALLAH swt says;

Al-Quran 24:022
“Those among you who are blessed with resources and wealth shall be charitable towards their relatives, the poor, and those who have immigrated for the sake of GOD. They shall treat them with kindness and tolerance; do you not love to attain GOD's forgiveness? GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.”

For those who believe, tolerance is needed as a part of their faith. This is the moral values of islam that make us humans which is an attribute lack by most of us today.

With tolerance, most of the problems cease to become large issues. Most of the small arguments cease to become huge fights and most of the relations remain in good ties. This is the content our society needs the most and lacks the most. If only all of us become tolerant and keep our angers away for some time, we can make this world a better place for living otherwise if today things are worse, they will get worst. It is only islam which has tracked people towards a tolerant way of life.

Shawwal Fasting

The month of Ramadan brings with it immense blessings of ALLAH swt. When Shawwal comes believers miss their fasting the most. They want Ramadan to be continued till eternity. But everything looks good and attracts only when presented in certain limits. This is why Ramadan, the month of blessings comes to us with most attractive reward packages comes for 29 or 30 days.

For those who want to continue earning the reward and happiness of fast, they can fast for another 6 days of shawal. These fasts are not wajib but mustahab. Muhammad s.a.w.w used to fast for another 6 days of shawal after Ramadan. Thus it is sunnah of Muhammad s.a.w.w to fast for 6 days of shawal as well. These fasts are authenticated from the sahih ahadith recorded in books of hadith.

Abu Ayyoob (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever fasts Ramadaan and follows it with six days of Shawwaal, it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime.” (Narrated by Muslim, Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi, al-Nisaa’i and Ibn Maajah).
So, to earn the reward of fasting for full year, fast the next 6 months of shawal and earn the reward of whole year.

There is a confusion about these fasts as well. Mostly people think that these fasts should be observed consecutively but this is not correct point of view. The consecutive fasts are only for Ramadan in which ALLAH swt gives us the courage to bear the thirst and hunger. In the normal days, people do not get this courage and shaitan also tries his level best to divert the attention of the believers from good deeds.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explained this when he said: “Whoever fasts for six days after (Eid) al-Fitr has completed the year: (whoever does a good deed (hasanah) will have ten hasanah like it).” According to another report: “Allaah has made for each hasanah ten like it, so a month is like fasting ten months, and fasting six days completes the year.” (al-Nisaa’i and Ibn Maajah. See also Saheeh al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb, 1/421). It was also narrated by Ibn Khuzaymah with the wording: “Fasting for the month of Ramadan brings the reward of ten like it, and fasting for six days brings the reward of two months, and that is the fasting of the whole year.”

So earn the extra reward from fasting 6 days for whole years.

Islamophobia

This newly created term “islamophobia” is not found in the oxford dictionary probably because they do not want to get themselves offended or because they themselves are islamophobes. Whatever the reason is, islamophobe has scared some people so much that they have become islamophobes.

This term was coined when the non muslim masses started attacking islam. Some non muslims go beyond their right of criticism and became abusers and hate mongers from where muslims started calling them islamophobes. Phobia is a psychological disorder when a person is afraid of a particular thing due to some reasons. Some people have hydrophobia so they cannot go near water because they think they will drown into it. Similarly some people are afraid of height, some are afraid of fire and now some people are really afraid of islam. This fear of islam has led people to become hate mongers and they started hating islam so much that they do not themselves know why they hate islam so much?

This hate for islam is not limited to personal levels but this hate is now backed by well known personalities and organizations or websites. Some buildings are also known for their islamophobia. These buildings include white house, pentagon and the “going to be built” temple of Solomon in place of masjid-e aqsa. While there have been passed well known personalities who hated islam so much that they wrote their humiliating history with their own hands. The famous crusades against islam are just one example of islamophobia of the age old Christians.

“Draw Muhammad day” and “burn quran day” were two internationally backed events which were supported by the famous website “facebook” which is still by millions of muslims. The two events were, no doubt, criticized by many non muslims as well but no condemnation or even a single act of force was used to stop these incidents.

Muslims are killed every year because they are “suspects”. Many muslims are held into custody by non muslims and they are not only held illegally but also they are made globally known figures. Dr. afia siddque is one of those poor ladies who is going to spend 80 years in jail because she is alleged to have killed troops in Afghanistan’s Bagram base. The funny thing is, none of the cases against her was proven. Ajmal kasab is another character who is still a mystery even after 4 years. This man is charged with 84 cases and still world waits for his death.

World has seen another person who was presented as horrible person in the non muslims world and who was a hero in muslim world, he was osama bin laden. So many fake stories were attached with this man. If we go by the stories told against him, we can safely call him most successful man in last 1000 years who was able to scare hell out of non muslims. This man was a well educated man who worked for muslim unity and credible sources say that he died in 2005 due to kidney failure. But islamophobes of white house tried to take credit of his death by creating another big false drama of his death in American army action in paksitan’s abotabad. Sadly, Pakistani army itself was either involved in this drama or they were forced to stay quiet.Due to islamophobia, today almost 2/3 of muslim world is either in direct war or is indulged in internal unrest and war which is created for them by the same islamophobes.

All this is set up for muslims not because they are in power or have some real treasures which are inaccessible for the non muslims. The fact is that these non muslim anti Islamic forces can access anything because they literally control all the assets in the world due to their control over muslims. This all is happening because the godless devil worshipers see islam as their biggest enemy and they know that a day will come when islam will destroy them. They have reached this conclusion because they have, so far, successfully damaged all religions except islam which is still practiced in its pure form. This is that single religion which has not been corrupted so far by the hands of the corrupts. No matter many tricks have been planned, currently been played and are in pipeline to be played in future, neither Quran was change nor the muslims were made to leave islam unlike other religions.

Above all, every year thousands of people convert to islam which has proved the non muslim claim of “islam spread by force” wrong. Some really serious surveys have actually proved that by 2050 half of the population of world will be muslim and in every non muslim country, the majority population will be of muslims. This has made some sick people more sick and some GOD fearing people, muslims.

Islamophobe will remain on this planet till the last day, therefore, oxford must include this word with its proper meaning in its next edition.

Imam Bukhari A Great Muslim

Imam bukhari is that muhadith who collected the most sahih ahadith mubarika. Imam bukhari had done immense wok in collection of hadith and his collected ahadith have been verified and authenticated by many. This is why sahih bukhari is that book of hadith which is considered most authentic after Quran. Imam bukhari was born in 194 and he died in 265 AH. His work is acknowledged throughout the world and imam bukhari’s favor will never be forgotten.

His complete name was Imâm al-muhaddithîn Hadrat Imâm Abû `Abdullâh Muhammad ibn Ismâ`îl al-Bukhârî. He was born in Bukhara which is present day Uzbekistan now. Imam bukhari’s father was also a muhadith but he passed away in imam bukhari’s childhood. Imam bukhair lost his eyesight in his childhood. His mother used to cry so much after she became hopeless from all the doctors of her age. One day she saw in dream that hazrat Ibrahim a.s. came and gave her news of her son’s eyesight coming back. In the following morning, when imam bukhari woke up he could see as if he was never blind.

At the age of ten, he got admission to learn the science of hadith and thus his journey of becoming great muhadith started.

Imam bukhri was a man with extra ordinary intelligence. He had strong memory this is reported from one of his companions that while they all used to write down ahadith during their visits to madrassah he used to listen to the scholars and never noted anything. One day they all condemned him that he wasted 16 days but when they got to know that bukhari memorized all ahadith they were shocked and surprised.

He spent all his life in collection of ahadith and he tried his level best and invoked ALLAH so much before noting any hadith finaly as authentic.

Taweez or amulets are the well known tools to wave off bad luck, jins, paranormal beings, magic effects, bad eye etc. the market of taweez is so huge that every month the taweez writers and taweez maker earn very handsome amount.

With taweez are associated so many stories which look more like alien stories than have happened on earth. Those who believe in taweez do not take even a step out of their bed without their taweez. There are many verities of taweez for every purpose. Taweez with better result are expensive while taweez with short time results are cheap.

Is this all related to islam anyway? See the hadith given below and decide yourself;

Sunan Abu Dawood Book 28, Number 3860:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
“I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: If I drink an antidote, or tie an amulet, or compose poetry, I am the type who does not care what he does.”

This is not islam to wear amulets for the good charm or to wave of bad luck etc. these all fell into the category of weak belief and sometimes they lead to disbelief as well. Why to rely on some bangles or pieces of paper for our protection when we know that ALLAH swt is nearer to us even than our jugular vein? When ALLAH swt said himself that HE is near to us than our jugular vein this means HE does not need those amulets or other jewelry to protect us but HIS mercy is huge and HIS power is over all things. Not even a leaf can move without HIS permission.

ALLAH is the one who when decided something and says “BE” and it comes into being. For such a powerful GOD, do we need those taweez written by humans?

Some argue that taweez which contains shirk are not permissible but taweez which contain verses of Quran cannot be rejected. For such people only one statement is enough, that is Quran and its verses are for guidance they are not to hang them in necks and forget the purpose of them i.e. to understand them.

Taweez is an issue which is controversial because people get emotional at the issue of quranic verses as taweez. Only if we understand that Quran and its verses are to understand half of the proplems will be solved.
Instead of wearing amulets, we should seek ALLAH’s help and forgiveness all the time and whenever some trouble befalls us, we should only remember ALLAH rather than running to dargahs and shrines and towards pirs.

Muslims Follows Jesus pbuh more than Christians

Among those messengers Jesus Christ (ESA a.s) is that messenger of ALLAH who was born to a virgin lady Maryum a.s. it was ALLAH’s decision and His greatest blessing on maryum a.s that she was chosen to be virgin mother of that prophet of ALLAH who will be ascended to heavens and will descend on earth when humanity will need a guide badly.

Christians think that they are devotees of esa a.s and in their devotion they have gone to wrong side by calling him son of GOD. Christians believe that GOD has sacrificed His son for the sins of humanity till eternity. Christians believe in a holy spirit and say that “threesome” means complete GOD.

The chritians trinity was never preached by ESA a.s. and it was never practiced by Him in his life and when He will come again on earth to complete his life, he will reject these Christians at once because they will call him son of GOD which is a dragotry comment for every GOD fearing muslims.

The divine religions before islam stopped their religions at their respective prophets despite of their news of the last messenger. Among all the previous messengers, ESA a.s is the only one who gave news of the coming of a final messenger after him who will be last and will come with the final message and that every Christian must follow him in order to remain on right path. As soon as jews claimed to kill him, most number of his followers turned away from his preaching and made him their god. They thought that ESA a.s. could gave life to dead because he was god but he could gave life to dead because he was given this miracle by ALLAH who created him.

Christians went to the length of absurdities by saying crap about maryum a.s. what was written in Quran was testified by the Christians of the time of Muhammad s.a.w.w so majority of them accepted islam. But most of them remained on their false faith and they are still on the same track which has now gone uglier than ever before.

Quran is that divine book, which confirms what was reveled in torah and it is that book which confirms what was reveled in zaboor and it is the same book which confirms what was reveled in gospel. We muslims cannot reject any messenger who came before ALLAH swt and we cannot associate with them any message other than oneness of ALLAH swt, the primary message preached by them.

Thus we muslims are following the same message which ESA a.s. preached. This means we confirm his messenger ship and we confirm his higher status which Christians do not confirm because they think a human can become god any time.

Hazrat Khadija R.A

The first person who accepted islam and accepted the prophet hood of Muhammad s.a.w.w was His first wife khadija r.a. she was one of the richest people of makkah. She was a business woman who’s business as looked after by her appointed men.

Once she needed an honest person to take her carvan of goods for trade. Muhammad s.a.w.w took her carvan for trade and earn her good profit which was more than she earned and she also got to know that He was honets in dealing. This act of Muhammad s.a.w.w was so liked by her that she proposed Him for marriage. At that time Muhammad s.a.w.w was not only helped financially by ALLAH swt but HE also gave Him a lovely and trustworthy companion as His wife.

Hazrat khadija r.a. was 15 years older than Muhammad s.a.w.w but even than she rpoved to be a best wife and a best companion of Him.

When Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w was given prophet hood, He came home and was shivering, He told khadija r.a. to cover Him with some shawl she did so. He was so afraid that He was able to speak after some time. Then he told her about the wahi and she believed each and every word He told her without any doubt. This shows that she was a lady with great personality.

Mostly women like to argue over what their husbands tell them. They do not like to believe in their husbands rather ask questions and counter questions. But khadija r.a. believed in His words and she took Him to one of her cousins who accepted Christianity, his name was nofil. He told them about a priest who finally told them that whatever Muhammad s.a.w.w was saying was right and that He was that final messenger who had to come.

Khadija r.a. was mother of Fatima r.a. who was beloved daughter of Muhammad s.a.w.w. hazrat khadija r.a. was the biggest moral support for Muhammad s.a.w.w when first wahi came to Him he became afraid and she soothed Him. Between first and second wahi there was some idle tiem when prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w got depressed so much that it is written in a sahih hadith of bukhair that He even tried to jump off from the mountain. This was because He was so depressed and was waiting so much for the second wahi to come. This was that tiem when He needed badly someone at his side. And khadija r.a. remained at His side till she died. When she died, this deeply moved Muhammad s.a.w.w because He loved her so much. This year was called year of sorrow.

Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w loved her so much that He did not remarry until she died. After her death He married again.

The contributions of khadija r.a. towards islam are so many. May ALLAH be pleased with her amin.

Duas for Daily Life

There are duas for all the routine acts that we do daily. ALLAH swt has set a standard for us which differs muslims from non muslims. This difference is based on the fact that muslims do not only worship ALLAH but remember Him in everything they do. For this, there are some prayers for every activity which we do which does not only protect us from evil but also ensures blessing of ALLAH in that act.

For example, before doing any act like eating , drinking, sitting standing, holding something, placing something etc we should recite Bismillah, which means “I start with the name of ALLAH the most gracious the most merciful”. It is said that when Bismillah was reveled on Muhammad s.a.w.w. satan was beaten with rocks and stones. This shows that the blessings of this verse are huge. And when a person recites ALLAH’s name before he starts anything, he ensures that his work will be free of satanic intentions .

Similarly, for every act a dua is recited which does not only protect us from shaitan but also earns us reward. Below is given some of those important duas which we all must memories and recite.

Du'a before sleeping:

Alllahuma bismika amuutu wa ahyaa.
Oh Allah! With your name I die and I live.

Du'a after waking up:
Alhamdulillahillazi ahyaanaa ba'da maa amaata-naa wa ilaihinnushuur.
All praise to Allah, who revived us to life after given us death, and to him we shall have to return.

Du'a after having a good dream:
Alhamdulillahi rabbil aalamin.
All praises be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds.

Du'a after having a bad dream:
Audhu billahi mina shaytan nir rajiim.
I seek refuge of Allah from satan the accursed.

Du'a before entering the toilet:
Bismillahi allahumma innii audhu bika minal khubusi wal khabaais.
Oh Allah! I seek protection in you from the filth and impurity.

Du'a after leaving the toilet:
Ghufraanaka alhamdu lillaahillazi azhaba 'annil azaa wa aafaanii.
I seek Your pardon, all praises are due to Allah who has taken away from me discomfort and granted me relief.

Du'a when putting on a garment:
Alhamdulillah hillazii kasaanii haazaa warazaqaniihi min ghairi haulim minny walaa quwwah.
All praises be to Allah who has clothed me with this garment, and has given it to me without difficulty.

Du'a when taking off a garment:

Alllahuma anta hasaanta khalqii fahassin khuluqii.

Du'a before eating:

Du'a after eating:

Tauban tauban, lirabbinaa auban, laa yughaadiru 'alainaa huuban.
We surrender before our Lord, surrender for our Lord, we bring back nor leave a single sin.

These were those few duas, which are easy to remember and should be recited before or after the particular act.

The beauty of islam is hidden and revealed both. Its beauty is hidden in its morals and values of life and its beauty if revealed when the followers of islam become practicing muslims.

Difficulties of Life

Some says life is a gift others say life is a test while some think life is a fun. But one thing is common for everyone and that is life’s difficulties. Every young, old rich poor has to face the difficulties of life. Human life is not given to him for fun or just as a gift as per some points of views.

It is a test and a responsibility for us. Life is a huge responsibility, bestowed on us by ALLAH swt, this is a test for us. Those who will pass this test will go to heaven while those who fail will definitely not enter heaven. Often this question struck human brains that why difficulties come to them. Why they face difficulties or made to face them. Why they cannot live happily without troubles. These questions are important but they are not valid when it comes to the purpose of human creation.

ALLAH swt has not created us to play, enjoy and die but we are created to worship ALLAH. This is not understood by many of us and we put forth another question that if our only purpose is to worship ALLAH, what are angels doing then? We should know that ALLAH created us with “free will” which is given to humans only. This means we are free to choose and we are free in our decisions while angels are created only to worship without any free will. Thus it is very difficult for humans to achieve their purpose of life. Difficulties in life start when humans fail to achieve their purpose of life.

Difficulties are not an alien thing but to tackle with them is important. With the remembrance of ALLAH all the time we can actually get enough courage to face the difficulties manly. But if we do not remember ALLAH and indulge ourselves into worldly matters, even a small trouble will become large for us. And if we remember ALLAH, HE will give us peace of mind and soul with which even huge mountains can be climbed easily.

Difficulties in life are a part of it. They can be faced manly and they can be faced like a weak person. We are to choose what we can do.

Using Social Media For Islamic Dawah

Dawah i.e. preaching of islam is a continuous process which never stopped from the day ALLAH’s apostle Muhammad s.a.w.w was given prophet hood. Dawah majalis were held first in mosques and in personal gatherings. Then people started arranging dawah kajalis in their homes and in private gatherings. With the advancement of technology dawah was done on TV and then internet came where GOD fearing muslims started their dawwah activities.

Internet has become most effective tool of communication because now a day’s computers have become tv as well. All the tv channels are now hosted on internet as well. Thus TV is losing its importance and computer is becoming work station as well as entertainment source. Many social networking websites are working successfully where millions of people are registered and log in daily. These social networking sites are actually created to gather people on one plat form for social and political to philosophical discussions.

Muslims started dawah on such social websites too. The most used social websites in the world are orkut, facebook, twitter. On these websites they work of dawah is being done continuously. From common muslims to scholars, everyone has official pages and accounts where they can be accessed easily. For example, dr. zakir naik has his official community on orkut and his official page in also created and active on facebook and twitter as well.

There are two points of views on doing dawah on social networking websites. One group says that it is not useful because on internet, people with lack of knowledge or half baked knowledge present islam very differently which makes rather wrong image of islam on non muslims. These internet scholars are actually a danger for islam and for the process of dawah.

The other group says that dawah on these social websites is rather one of the most effective and useful tool because these social websites are hub of general public virtual meetings. To attract masses towards islam is easy on these social websites than by using websites. Since these websites are used daily, so muslims and non muslims, both get daily dose of dawah which ultimately is useful for the people.

Dawah needs good and authentic knowledge and enthusiasm. Good and authentic knowledge may be not likely to be known by the internet scholars but their courage, enthusiasm and their good intentions must be appreciated. It is a good dawah tool which must be used by all those who have authentic and good knowledge of islam.

Tahajjud In Islam

From among the voluntary worships, tahajjud is one. It is the prayer which is offered at last part of night. It is one of the most liked acts of worship of ALLAH swt. ALLAH swt has mentioned this worship in Quran as well. There are some verses and ahadith on this prayer given below.

Allah[swt] says in the Qur'an:

And during a part of the night, pray Tahajjud beyond what is incumbent on you; maybe your Rabb will raise you to a position of great glory (17:79)

They used to sleep but little in the night. And in the early part of the morning they asked forgiveness. (51: 17-18)

"The slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: 'Peace' and they who spend the night prostrating before their Lord and standing" (25: 63-64)

1)It participates in undoing the knots which Shaytaan places at the top of ones head.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said :

"During your sleep, Satan knots three knots at the back of the head of each of you, and he breathes the following words at each knot, 'The night is, long, so keep on sleeping,' If that person wakes up and celebrates the praises of Allah, then one knot is undone, and when he performs ablution the second knot is undone, and when he prays, all the knot are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and gay, otherwise he gets up dull and gloomy. "

2) The most excellent prayer after the obligatory prayers.

The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: The most excellent fasting after the month of Ramadan is fasting during the month of Allaah, Muharram, and the most excellent prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.

The Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: “In Paradise there is a home whose outside can be seen from the inside and whose inside can be seen from the outside.” Abu Maalik al- Ash’aree said: Who is this for O Messenger of Allaah? He said: “It is for the one who makes his speech good and decent, who feeds others and spends the night in standing whilst others are sleeping.”

4)Gratitude is shown to Allaah with the (obligatory) prayer and night prayer

Mugheerah ibn Shu’bah (radiallaahu anhu) said:

The Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) stood until his feet became swollen. It was said to him: Has not Allaah forgiven all your sins, those past and those in the future? He (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) replied:“Should I not be a grateful servant?”

I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) say: “Indeed, there is an hour during the night, no muslim asks Allaah for any good from among the affairs of the world or the Hereafter during it except that Allaah gives the very same to him, and this is every night.”

7)The best way to perform the night prayer

The best way to perform the night prayer is to pray two by two (rak'ahs), and to separate the two even rak'ahs of witr from the one rak'ah (i.e., not to join the three rak'ahs of witr). The evidence for this is the hadeeth of Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both), who said: "The Prophet (Peace & Blessings of Allah be upon Him) used to perform the night prayers two by two (rak'ahs), then he would end with a single rak'ah."

The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: “May Allaah show mercy to a man who got up during the night and prayed and then woke his wife and if she refused, sprinkled water over her face and may Allaah show mercy to a woman who got up during the night and prayed and then woke up her husband and if he refused sprinkled water over his face.”

Pride and islam

There are few personality traits which must never overcome the nature. From among those personality traits the most disliked is “pride”. Self pride was the reason for which satan became cursed. This was the reason for which jews became cursed and most disliked by ALLAH swt. It is the only reason which makes king, a bagger. In short, pride makes a person god of himself. ALLAH swt has condemned those who are proud.

AL-Quran 21:019
“Every living being in the heavens and on earth belongs to Him, and no one in His presence _ either out of pride or regret _ shies away from worshipping Him.”

In the verse quoted above, ALLAH swt says that no matter what people do, even if they reject the oneness of ALLAH out of pride, they only worship Him. In every religion, people have an ultimate god, or greatest god, who cannot be seen like hindus believe in brahma, Christians believe in a god who has a son etc. even if they reject ALLAH swt, but they cannot reject their ideology of the un seen god which could not be seen.
In another place ALLAH swt says that;

AL-Quran 67:021
“If He withholds His bounties from you, do you have anyone else who could grant you the provisions? The fact is, they hide behind their pride, and their (irrational) aversion (to the truth)!”

Those, who are in doubt about the blessings they get, should think that what if their blessings are stopped? What will they do if everything which they have is snatched or destroyed what will they do?

An important thing should be noted that these verses are not only for the rejecters of islam but for everyone who rejects signs of ALLAH in any form. Today, muslims have changed their ways. they curse their lives and fates when they fell into any trouble, they forget to supplicate an invoke ALLAH or even pay their thanks to ALLAH when they get some good news or are happy. When someone forgets ALLAH, it means he thinks he is self sufficient which means pride and arrogance.

Keeping Balance In Rights of Mother and Wife

Mother in law and daughter in law fights are very common in the subcontinent. Though the jealousy between Saas and bahu is apparent in every corner of the world but in subcontinent it is very common and almost an ignored issue. This is an issue which should not be avoided and should be given prime importance after marriage.

This issue has two main aspects; mother and wife. Before getting her son married, mother should know that her son will have a responsibility is future which would be a must for him to take seriously. Mothers are most commonly found back biting about their daughter in laws and say that they have snatched their from them. They always feel uncomfortable from their daughter in laws and do not like their presence at home. They also do not like their life style they criticize how they walk, talk, eat, sleep and even sit. There are only concerned with their sons and believe to death that their daughter in law has arrived in their house with only purpose to kill them and break their house and relation with their sons.

Daughter in laws, on the other hand believe that the only person who does not want to see them happy is their mother in law. She is the only person who does not want her to settle her life in her husband’s house and she does not want her to be beloved of her husband. She believes to death that her mother in law wants to remarry her son and she wants to break her marriage. She believes that her husband’s mother is an old aged lady who does not know what is going on in the world. Since she is old she is backward and her opinion is not credible.

Both ladies even try the “black magic or some baba ji” on each other and waste hell lot of money on those non sense activities. Thus both these females act strangely and keep hatred in their hearts for each other. Who can bring peace in their lives?

It is the son who can make these two ladies live happily and to love each other. Wife and mother both are huge responsibilities. Mother can never be treated harshly and wife must be treated nicely in order to keep life going well. What should the son do in this regard?

He must be a good listener and he must listen to his wife and mother with attention. If his mother has problems with his wife, he should try to correct his wife and if his wife has problems with his mother, he can tell his mother in directly to correct herself. Son must not fight with wife or mother because of the other. He should act wisely. In the beginning, it is difficult to manage but with the passage of time, things get easy and wife and mother can controlled and love easily.

Prophet Peace be upon him said I am afraid about my community of those leaders who will lead astray. When the sword is used among my people, it will not be withdrawn from them till the Day of Resurrection, and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my people attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my people worship idols.

There will be among my people thirty great liars each of them asserting that he is (Allah's) prophet, whereas I am the Seal of the Prophets after whom (me) there will be no prophet; and a section of my people will continue to hold to the truth[/bue] - (according to Ibn 'Isa's version: (will continue to dominate) - the agreed version goes: "and will not be injured by those who oppose them, till Allah's command comes."(ABU DAWOOD, Book 30, Number 4239).

The first of the claimants of prophet hood were muselma kazab and his wife, they were sent to jahanum by sahib r.a. there have came around in total 24 known people from all over the world who claimed prophet hood and challenged the prophethood of Muhammad s.a.w.w. one of these liars was mirza ghulam ahmed qadiyani. This cursed character was a born muslim and was student of fiqah. He was student of islam even then shaitan stuck his brain and he claimed prophet hood one day.

There is unanimous consensus among qadiyani giants that mirza was incarnation of Muhammad s.a.w.w NAUDUBILLAH. Mirza was a mentally retarded person and he used to claim so many diseases that he is commonly known as mental hospital.

Mirza married twice. His first wife and children rejected him while his second wife and children were all like him. The main reason for the claim of prophet hood of mirza was to please english men. He was working for those and in return they were giving him escort from the muslims. Though mirza’s followers reject any such claim but then there have been captured many letters of mirza to english govt. which exposed the true ugly face of mirza and his followers. Below are given some of the content from those letters.

I have filled shelves with books which I wrote in praise of the British, especially about the abrogation of Jihad in which many Muslims believe. This is a big service to the Government. So I hope for an appropriate and good reward." (Tabligh-e-Risalat, Vol. 7, P. 19).

From my early days till now that I am sixty years old, I have been engaged, with my pen and tongue, in the important task of turning the hearts of Muslims to faithful loyalty to the British Government and to create the feeling of goodwill and sympathy for the Government.........";(Kitab-ul-Barriyah, Roohani Khazain, Vol. 13, P. 350; Tabligh-e-Risalat, Vol. 7, P. 10; Letter to Lieutenant-Governor of Punjab, Feb. 24, 1898).

It is binding upon the British Government to be aware of the services of the Qadianis by every care as their Imam (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad) spent twenty two years of his life preaching to the people that Jihad is Haraam (forbidden) and is strictly abrogated. (Review of Religion, No. 1, P. 2, 1902; by Maulvi Muhammad Ali)
From the above mentioned content, there remains no doubt that mirza ghulam qadiyani was none other than a puppet set by the british govt. to keep muslims busy in their religious matters and to take advantage of the unrest which was created finally.

Unfortunately, mirza could not be sent to hell by any believer but his death was another lesson for the followers of mirza who deny his death is bathroom. When mirza was challenged by a believer, he prayed that one of them if is a liar must fell ill and his prayer was accepted so early that he fell ill and finally died in his bathroom in the filth all over around him. Thus ALLAH showed who was liar.

Mirza was such a mentally retard person that his wife used to mark his right and left shoes and even then he never could identify the right and left shoes. How could such a person be prophet? Mirza went to his mental degradation so much that he one day claimed even divinity. He also said that ALLAH has a son from him NAUDUBILLAH. He was such a filthy character man that till the final day, all of the muslims and whatever is in the heavens and earth and ALLAH’s curses will be upon him.

Muslim Matrimonial Sites are of no use

Once there used to be marriage offices where every fake and true person would come with the lies and truths to marry. These marriage offices were created because with the passage of time, people made marriages mere business. Through this business the boy and his family can earn so much of furniture, gold and other house hold items without spending half of what they actually would have spent if they went to markets themselves.

With the passage of time and the reality of such offices revealed, people then rejected these ideas and gave their attention to internet social and chat forums to find their life partners. In beginning, they used to be honest on the virtual world, but then again, human nature makes him to go forward in every good and bad, people also engaged themselves in lies and false stories about their riches and families. After some thousands of lies were revealed, some intelligent brains stood up and started websites to find the life partners. People now started registering into those sites and as always, in the beginning, everything went honestly but soon the dishonest and liars again emerged on the map and ruined these websites and their images as well.
When Islamic websites were created, in the beginning they were only for dawah purposes and to attract people towards islam, but now we see almost every website has its marriage portal as well where only muslims can register.

Though strict measures are taken to drive the liars and false profiles away from such portals but they are not much successful in their sincere efforts to marry the muslims. This is because people on internet are used to of face to face chat of open communication, but most of the Islamic marriage portals are strict in this matter. They only require information and that too true information and no face to face or open chats backed by them. Another reason for these portals to be idle is that only muslims register here with clear cut mind to marry. They do not like dating and all which has been introduced on internet long ago, so they do not attract many people towards them.

Another important reason in the failure of these portals is that people do not trust internet in this matter anymore. There have been done so much on internet that people rather fear that they might fell into the wrong hands and they might ruin their lives if they believe a person on this virtual world.

In short, even Islamic marriage websites are of no use. They can be made attractive and useful only when these website owners become active and assure people that they do it to please ALLAH rather than pleasing people. otherwise marriage is becoming a problem bigger and bigger day by day despite of so many places to find the better half.

Honesty in Business

Honesty is needed in everything we do. From the domestic work of daily routine or office work to studies, honesty makes the real difference. Honesty makes it easy for us to survive because an honest person is truthful and such a person does not fell into any trouble. The sad fact of the present day is the lack of honesty in people. Lies, and dishonesty has become standard in everyday matters and it is a common perception that no one can get rid of them now.

This point of view is wrong, why cannot we live like honest humans? If one thinks that honesty cannot be achieved or truthfulness is a dream now this is wrong, just by practicing islam truly in its true spirit we can achieve all this without devising any special plans or any complex system of morals.

The world today is a big business hub, i.e. it is a business market now. There are some main stock exchanges that control the money inflow and out flow of the world for example, wall street etc. these stock exchanges are actually business centers where whole world trades. Unfortunately, with the jewish intervention in the business and introduction of riba in business, there has left no honesty and no halal money in the business any more.

The best examples of the honesty in business are the prophets of islam. From Quran we learn that prophet yusuf a.s. used to look after the financial matters of the state as His own choice. The bestest example for muslims to follow is our beloved prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w who was not only sadiq and amin but also known as an honest business man. He was so honest that due to His honesty hazrat khadija r.a. who was one of the richest ladies of makkah, proposed Him.

It is called that honesty is the best policy, indeed honesty is the best policy. When a business man is honest, he will never sell a low quality product and will never earn unjustified profit. Thus, an honest business man will be God fearing and will never ever dodge his customers over the selling.

An honest business man will never like to go for unjust means to increase his earnings neither will he ever like to give bribes or accept bribes thus with honesty in business, the curses of bribery and riba can be shunned.
Hazrat abu bakar siddique r.a was one of the best and honest business men of Arabia. He was very rich and his financial as well as moral help was appreciated by Muhammad s.a.w.w as well. He was much honored in his region because he was honest in business.

There are several examples in the muslim world who did not only do business honestly but also earned much more than those who like to earn black money. In honest business ALLAH gives His blessings, thus honesty indeed is the best policy.

Great Muslim Scientists

Science today has been made something alien which does not believe in religions and GOD and which means to rely on human brain and human reasoning and logic and nothing else. Science has been made such a thing that religions dislike it now. In other religions, science is called spirituality it is not related with human reasoning and understanding but it is restricted for those who are known as spirituals. Thus a common man is pushed away from learning the mysteries of the world.

Islam is the only religion which did not restricts its followers to learn the knowledge of the world and to explore the world. In fact ALLAH swt says in Quran to explore the world and see what HE has put in here for us. islam does not restrict its followers to live and die in one place in ignorance rather it encourages us to go and visit the world to find the signs of ALLAH in everything. All that we call miracles of science today are actually signs of ALLAH. Quran said that humans are created from water, and science says humans are 70 percent water. Quran says that moon sun and stars and all that is on sky and in earth and beyond is following a predefined fixed path, we see after millions of the years have passed, neither sun changed its course nor moon nor anything else in the sky changed its course. Everything is moving in the same path and towards the same direction.

It was the muslim scientists who were the pioneers is exploring the world. Their faith never shattered whenever they found something new but their faith grew strong in ALLAH when they found HIS signs in HIS creations.

It was muslims, who were the expert geologists, chemists, physicists, philosophers, astronomers, engineers, doctors, builders, mathematicians etc. they became so expert in their fields that even today science thanks them for their achievements. No matter how much west wants to take credit of all what they have today, they cannot deny the role of muslim scientists and they cannot hide those rare books in their libraries which are written by the muslims and for which these people fight and even kill each other. There is a common story circled in the modern west that there was an arab muslim who knew how to covert metals into gold. This story has inspired many of these people to spend their lives in finding such thing which can convert everything into gold.

This is special blessings on muslims that they can still feel proud over their scientists. No matter what happens, islam and science can never be separated. What is called discovery today are actually signs of ALLAH. There have passed many muslims with greatest achievements in science. Riya (Show off) Is Shirk

Riya or show off is the most disliked act and attitude in islam. It is as if someone is deceiving himself and his Lord to please people and not his Lord.

Those who do good deeds not to earn sawab but their primary purpose is to show off and to get the praise of people, such people will never get anything in return for their acts which looked pious in this world. ALLAH’s messenger s.a.w.w said;

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 2, Number 25:
Narrated Abu Huraira:

“Allah's Apostle was asked, "What is the best deed?" He replied, "To believe in Allah and His Apostle (Muhammad). The questioner then asked, "What is the next (in goodness)? He replied, "To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah's Cause." The questioner again asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" He replied, "To perform Hajj (Pilgrim age to Mecca) 'Mubrur, (which is accepted by Allah and is performed with the intention of seeking Allah's pleasure only and not to show off and without committing a sin and in accordance with the traditions of the Prophet)."”

Thus, every good act which is done with good intentions will be counted as best deed and every action which was done to show the people and to gather their praise will be rejected. ALLAH swt said;

Al-Quran 4:038
“And (also) for those who flaunt (and flash), when they spend their wealth, in order to show off to the people. They do not believe in Allah or the Day of Judgment. Whoever has Shaitan as an intimate companion has indeed an evil companion!”

ALLAH swt says that the sole purpose of these people is to show the world and they in real do not believe in neither ALLAH swt nor the last day. when one intends to do something so that his image in the society becomes good, he surely gets what he wanted but his act becomes riya which is already disliked by ALLAH swt.

When a person does something good keeping in mind to please ALLAH swt, his act may not be noticed by people but he surely gathers loads of sawab for his hereafter.

Just see the difference between these two persons. One who wants to earn praise of people does not know that he will be paying for his deeds and that the one he should concentrate on to please is ALLAH swt and not people because people will never save him from hell fire.

But the one who does good deeds openly and hidden to only please ALLAH swt knows that whatever he has earned will be given to him with glad tidings of jannat.

The one who wants worldly praise will do not hesitate to please people with his wrong acts and he will even like to cloth them the dress of religion while the one who fears ALLAH will condemn everything and will abstain from every act that might increase his image in this world, only because he knows he is being seen all the time and such person never forgets ALLAH’s presence.

Instead of doing riya kari we should focus on to become GOD conscious.

Investing money in way of ALLAH

AL-Quran 35:029 “Surely, those who recite the book of GOD, observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and from our provisions to them they spend - secretly and publicly - are engaged in an investment that never loses.”

ALLAh swt has said on several places in Quran that when one spends in His way, he invests in his account of akhira. What one spends in this world is very little but what one will receive in hereafter will be huge. Those who spent 10 rupees here will receive 70 rupees in hereafter and those 70 rupees will be more than what we can actually imagine. Thus by investing in the way of ALLAH means to spend on poor people.

Islam has devised a complete system to help poor and has made it an act of great reward for us. This system is the system of zakat. Zakat, is now paid as an obligation and mostly people pay it half heartedly as if they do not want to pay that money but are obligated or compelled to do that. After the wisal of Muhammad saww, hazrat abu bakar siddique r.a. spent his life in fighting those who refused to give zakat.

Apart from zakat, the voluntary charity is so much appreciated in islam that ALLAH swt himself has given glad tidings to such people. The verse Quoted in the start of this article is the proof. Voluntary charity means feeling for poor people and feels the urge to help them. Islam has not restricted this help to muslims only but it encourages to help every person who is in need.

Those who spend in ALLAH’s ways voluntarily, openly and hidden they actually fear ALLAH and feel the pan for others. Helping others means humanity. And we muslims are so blessed to have humanity as a basic part of our religion.

Invest in the way of ALLAH as much as you can, do not hesitate to even give a date in HIS way. HE knows what you have spent keeping what in your heart i.e. your intentions.

Hazrat Fatima R.A

She was beloved daughter of Muhammad s.a.w.w. among the four daughters. Hazrat Fatimah r.a. was very near and dear to Him and even at the time of His death, prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w talked to Fatimah and told her that she will be the queen of the youth in paradise.

Hazrat Fatimah r.a. was married to hazrat ali r.a. who was cousin of Muhammad s.a.w.w and was younger than Him. From hazrat ali r.a, hazrat Fatimah had two sons, Hassan r.a. and hussain r.a. these two grandsons of Muhammad s.a.w.w were beloved and very dear to Him.

Muhammad s.a.w.w used to carry them on His shoulders. They used to jump onto his back when He s.a.w.w used to offer namaz and go for sadja. But Muhammad s.a.w.w never talked even a slightest harsh to them and always treated them with love.

Hazrat Fatima r.a died when she was pregnant. She was dragged out of her house by the enemies of islam and she received serious injury and died. Hazrat Fatimah r.a. was a pious muslimah who spent her entire life practicing islam in its true spirit.

There is one group who take Fatimah r.a. as their pious and precious “deity”. these people consider her masoom i.e. the one infallible and count her death as a murder done by sunni muslims. In reality, these were the same people who sowed the seed of hatred among muslims and they were the one who killed Fatimah r.a. and also hazrat ali r.a.they were the same people who killed hazrat hussain r.a. and now they are found wailing and crying which is also a sin.

The linage of prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w has continued from the children of his daughters s.a.w.w. it is said that the promised mehdi will be from the pure linage of Muhammad s.a.w.w. this claim has always made the shia people happy because they think that they are the true followers and keepers of the linage of the family of Muhammad s.a.w.w. they are in delusion which will certainly be broken when imam mehdi will come.
Hazrat Fatima r.a was a significant personality of islam. She was pious and was mother of the pious kids who will be the leaders of youth (young boys) in jannat and she was the wife of the pious man who was forth rightly guided khalifah of islam. May ALLH be pleased with all of them.

TV and internet has changed the life style of all of us. The time which we used to spend once, with friends in social gatherings and with parents and family is now spent on TV or internet. For children separate cartoon channels have been introduced and for them online games and cartoons are also available.

So, once if you wanted to play a game you would install it in your computer but now every game is available online and no hard disk space or cds are required any more.

But with the advancement of time and age and ease of access, society is going morally degraded instead of taking positive advantage of the technology. The most affected and targeted class is none other than our kids. There are some evil brains who have devised special plans to control the minds of the coming generation of the world so that they can prepare special breed of humans who can protect their interests and continue their values.

The most prominent figure in promoting evil in the minds of the children is walt Disney. Walt Disney is producing and presenting cartoon movies and other movies for children from so many decades now. But it also has subliminal messages in its movies and cartoons. It especially infuses sex-related content in its movies and presentations keeping in mind the mental capability of kids. We should know that what kids think we do not think. What they see we do not see. Small and negligible things and events and scenes which are not noticed by parents are not only noticed by children but they also hide their feelings from their parents and elders.

The new cartoon programs are designed such that they promote godlessness. They present powerful characters who are either aliens or humans and capable of doing anything. They promote those characters as all powerful. These are seen as harmless by parents and elders but in real, they are extremely very harmful because they are taking your kids away from ALLAH and islam.

The third thing which every elder should know is that apart from all the other stuff promoted by these cartoon programs, kids are also been taught that love affairs and having a girl or boy at their side is not a sin but necessity of life. Thus, kids who are not even 12 years old know what it means to have a girl friend or boy friend. Kids are also been brain washed about life. They only know that life means to dance sing and have fun. Thus, kids are been destroyed totally which means the coming generation of this world is been prepared to serve satan freely without fear of GOD.

We know that parents have become more careful about their kids and they do not let them use internet or TV freely. But they are ignorant about these tactics of media and those organizations who target kids only. And their sole purpose is to destroy the next generation and through them, their main target is to destroy religions and destroy moral values of society. Therefore, watch carefully your kids, what they are watching and what they are storing in their innocent brains.

Beard In Islam

Beard is sunnah i.e. beard was kept by our prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w and so for every true muslim beard should be a must. Though there are difference of opinion on this matter as if beard is fard, wajid, mustahab or simply it will not earn any sin of a person does not want to keep it.

Before going in details, first look at the time of jahiliya. There were three religions in Arabia paganism, christanity and Judaism. Pagans were totally different from pagan arabs in life style and also in their appearance and looks. Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w was given the divine guidance which was also given to the prophets of people of books before Him. So Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w used to feel himself closer to the people of book than the pagans.

Muhammad s.a.w.w kept beard and it is also said that every prophet kept beard because with beard, the outlook of person changes altogether. beard bring a decency on face which cannot be achieved on the face without beard. Above all, to follow sunnah is what we should do as ALLAH swt said in several places in Quran to “obey ALLAH and obey Messenger”.

Most people argue that since beard is a personal matter to them they should be the people to choose whether to keep it or not. Being muslims we should know that everything done by our beloved prophet was never out of purpose. Beard is the unique identity of muslims. Someone might come up with the argument that non muslims also keep beard but, they actually do not keep the beard prescribed in islam. Islam says to keep a specific length beard without mustache. Mustache is not very mush likd but it is also not disliked if kept very small. Long hair of mustache makes the food and drink makrooh.

There are several ahadith regarding keeping beard. Below are given few of them to give weight to the article so that people do not reject the idea of keeping beard as useless and as “personal choice”.

Bukhair Volume 7, Book 72, Number 780:
Narrated Nafi':
“Ibn Umar said, The Prophet said, 'Do the opposite of what the pagans do. Keep the beards and cut the moustaches short.' Whenever Ibn 'Umar performed the Hajj or 'Umra, he used to hold his beard with his hand and cut whatever moustaches. Ibn Umar used to cut his moustache so short that the whiteness of his skin (above the upper lip) was visible, and he used to cut (the hair) between his moustaches and his beard.”
Thus, beloved prophet s.a.w.w told us to do opposite to what pagans used to do. Today beard is a symbol of fear and hate against muslims only because it is identity of muslims and not just fashion.

If women are told to wear veil or atleast be like muslim women why cannot men be told to keep beard so that at least they look like muslims. People with beard are mocked a lot as mullahs, movlis and blah blah, just because they keep beard. He modern trend has encouraged people to call the beard people terrorists as well. Muslims also happily mock their fellow muslims who keep beard.

If one keeps beard by his own will, he will never cut it or never feel achamed of it, but if one keeps beard because he is obligated or his outlook must be like it, he will certainly get nothing because his intention was never to follow sunnah but only to show the world.

The modern day example of the person who kept beard as following sunnah and as per his own will is dr. dr. zakir naik kept hs beard despite of the thin hair on his face. He says that he does not feel shy or bad about his outlook because his outlooks give him title of muslim.

What is bad in having a muslim outlook? Will these fashions and all save us from hell fire or following islam will do that? The decision in still in our hands if we really want to be good muslims. For good muslims their personal whims and desires get the second priority and divine order gets the first.
